we have been regular at Bouchon in Hexham since it opened last year, and we've enjoyed it every times. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys food. Keep on the hard work! And well done for your entry in the Good Food Guide.

Bouchon Bistrot – HexhamEating at Bouchon is a wonderful experience. The food is excellent, the service is good and the surroundings are great. I have eaten there on several occasions and the meals have always been of a very high standard. The owner is always welcoming. Highly recommended.
Bouchon Bistrot – HexhamReally lovely food, improved so much since the new chef started in August. Warm friendly atmosphere thanks to the new log burner and recent refurbishment will be going there regularly!
Adam and Eve – HexhamWe went to bouchon last week, coming all the way from Newcastle by train, and what an experience! from the arrival all the way to the goodbye, a fantastic experience. So good that we have booked again for their Christmas menu. We had the Crispy Mussel Galette, a sort of pancake with fresh mussels, leeks & carrots inside, and to follow we had the Calves Liver, which has a lovely shallot & nut crust on top. My girlfriend had the Onion Soup, totally authentic, and then the monkfish cooked in red wine. She was too full to have a dessert, but not full enough to share my chocolate profiteroles! A beautiful bottle of French wine recommended by the helpful & professional staff, all that for a very reasonable price. Perfect 3 f's:French, Friendly & Fun!
Bouchon Bistrot – HexhamMay 14th - Excellent atmosphere/food and music. Lost the wait service for a few more minutes than I would have liked but the Hostess picked up the slack. Another good meal at Danielle's.
Danielle’s Bistro – HexhamThoroughly enjoyed a meal here in February. We were warmly welcomed by a pleasant Frenchman whom we instantly recognised as one of the former owners of The Black Door Restaurant in Newcastle-where we had a fantastic eating experience a couple of years ago. Based on this we expected a high quality meal which we most certainly got along with an exceptional level of service from the waiting staff. If you want an outstanding meal from an impressive menu but at a sensible price then Bouchon is without doubt the place to go.
Bouchon Bistrot – HexhamWe tried the Angel's new extension for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately the food and service didn't match the pleasant surroundings, with apparent confusion amongst the otherwise friendly though invariably absent staff and a lack of flexibility in the kitchen (strictly first in first out), with some main courses being delivered before others fist courses. Shame, for with proper communication between restaurant and kitchen it could all have been so much better
Angel of Corbridge – HexhamThe best indian in the north east. Love IT!
Saathi Indian Cuisine – Hexhamthis is ma cousins restaurant, and its amazing, the food is top queltiy, nd i recomend this restaurant to every1 not jst cos hes my cousin but because its an outstanding restaurant
Errington Arms – HexhamDespite being spoilt for choice of Indian Restaurants in this part of Tynedale we always head for Saathi. The reason is simple, fantastic food in great surroundings. Prices are very competitive and the take away service is to be recommended.
Saathi Indian Cuisine – HexhamLovely cosy pub run by a lovely old couple. We found the food delicious and very reasonably priced, the couple who run the pub were very friendly and welcoming! We have been there many times over the years and quite often we are the only people in there as not a lot of people know it's there because it is such a small village! We will continue going there as long as it remains open, a real hidden gem!
Duke Of Wellington Inn – HexhamI thought that Danielle's Bistro was wonderful. There was excellent service, me and my companion were served by a pleasant and attractive waitress by the name of Nicolina. The owner Sandro was very welcoming as well. The food was delightful and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely be visiting this restaurant in the near future.
Danielle’s Bistro – HexhamJust wonderful. From walking in to walking out I felt an all round pleasant experience. I was warmly greeted by charming and cheerful staff who led me straight to my cosy looking table. The atmosphere was pleasant with delightful music playing soundly in the background. The food was excellent, with my choice for the main course being the Venison loin, grilled pink with black pudding and red wine sauce. The chef had cooked these generous slices of game deftly, knowing exactly when to stop to present the meat at its best. It was accompanied with excellent roast potatoes and vegetables. The selection of wine was very considerable. The service was excellent, especially at very busy periods when still the waitresses were all so polite and helpful. One of the most delicious meals I have had in a while, I will definitely be returning shortly. Undoubtedly a must go.
Danielle’s Bistro – HexhamWhile spending a week’s holiday in the wonderful countryside of Northumberland we had the privilege of finding this wonderful eatery, only wishing we had found this pub on are first night after spending 3 nights trying less enjoyable meals in the village. The welcome and help we received on entering the pub was fantastic the staff even found time to recommend us things to do in the area. The food was as good as we have ever had with fast friendly service which made us feel so at home. We recommend you try the chicken strips and the beef on the bone but make sure you leave room for a pud as the ice cream is to die for i hope you enjoy your meal as much as we did
Black Bull Inn – HexhamLovely food, lunchtime 2 course meal better priced than night time menu which is much more expensive, I would recommend going for the lunchtime special. Nice cosy atmosphere.
Danielle’s Bistro – Hexhamgood food, good menu and kids menu excellent, a world of difference from how it was. lovely atmosphere inside and good friendly service. We will be going back.
Adam and Eve – HexhamTo be honest, when I used to go to the Adam and Eve it was, quite honestly, terrible. Now, however, it's been taken over by new management and the food is actually nice. Actually, it's gorgeous!! Thanks to Karen and Paul for making the pub a better place!
Adam and Eve – HexhamThe Valley is known for it's fine indian cuisine and is always consistent, good quality, well priced and served up in a nice way. The surroundings are nice, set in the old station house at corbridge and the gimmick of the 'curry train' from newcastle still remains popular. Highly recommended, a nice trip out if you live in Newcastle also.
