We were visiting Hull for a few days and went to El Toro on Saturday and Sunday . We had the special 3 tapas menu. The choice was excellent and the food was delicious. The wine was reasonably priced and the house wine was very good. The service was excellent and the young lady serving us was very knowledgeable about the menu and made us feel so welcome. We always visit El Toro when in Hull and will continue to do so.

Great food and atmosphere will return again

Myself and my partner came in for a meal yesterday, Monday 5th August, had table booked for 7pm, we both felt our meal and time here was very rushed, didn’t finish our starters before they brought out our mains! Service here is always normally very chilled and calm but we felt we didn’t get the service like we had before! We have both said that we have always had a good service and evening!

Food was absolutely fantastic. Staff were brilliant. The head waiter was very knowledgeable and suggested we tried some dishes which were called street food .these were amazing. Highly recommended definitely will be going back again . Can't fault the food or service

This is my fourth visit. There's always a good atmosphere. The staff ate very friendly and helpful. Food is always tasty. It's very clean, well spaced and comfortable. It was a nice day and we were able to sit outside although the bifold doors were open making it cool and airy throughout.

We went on a Thursday evening, 2 for 1 cocktails and 50% off food was the offer of the day. Great friendly and attentive service also they did a great job advising me what to order due to a certain food intolerance I have. Food and drinks were lovely and the very chilled atmosphere made us feel very welcome and eager to go back.

Had a lovely evening here, could not fault anything, restaurant is lovely and clean, Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent and authentic, very tasty and plenty of it. cannot complain about the price thought it was very reasonable. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant won't be long before we visit again

Perfect, authentic food with a great service. More than enough food to eat, so much we took some home! We had the meat platter which was cooked to perfection. Returning customers, we will be returning again. Only thing to add is that the music inside is a tad too loud, which makes it hard to hear fellow guests.

We were eating prior to an evening at Hull New Theatre. Staff were friendly and helpful and service was quick. We kicked off with a platter of jamon, olives and bread The food arrived straight from the kitchen and in generous portions. Fat flavoursome gambas in garlic, excellent padron peppers, pork ribs and albondigas. I enjoyed a glass of Spanish house white wine and finished off with pear in red wine with ice cream.

Visited on weds this week party of 6 was very busy but service was still pretty good faster than we expected, the food choice on tapas is excelent and the actual food was great will be back

Food is just so wonderful. Every mouthful is a treat. So many dishes to choose from. Go on a Tuesday Wednesday Thursday or Sunday evening and it's all you can eat for £22 95. Gives you a chance to try so many flavours. Staff are great. Music gentle background. Love it here

Such a lovely evening! Great food, got to sit on the terrace and the service is always so great in there! Definitely get the meat platter if you can; the Lamb is amazing! They also do the best tzatziki in Hull in my opinion. Genuinely love this place

Went on a Sunday evening for the all you can eat buffet, food and service was amazing , large variety to choose from and really enjoyed trying a lot of smaller dishes, well worth the money. My only criticism was as I was driving I found the soft drinks where rather expensive, although this would far from put me off from going again, wish they would put the buffet options on more nights, as we both really enjoyed this option. Would definitely recommend this.
