Three of is went on Sunday for the all you can eat tapas and it's wasn't great. The prawn choice you only get two prawns. The potato dishes a big though. Taste wasn't good in the slow beef and lamb. My daughter had the chicken and potato croquet but no chicken, more like the frozen ones you get at home. The service was good, although the table was very sticky. Unfortunately I think the all you can eat tapas has traded taste and quality for quantity. On the basis of spending £73 on Sunday we wouldn't return.

Great food, service and value for money

Just been for the second time this month and it was as good as ever the service was first class andthe food was to die for will be back soon.

This was a returning visit as we enjoyed the food and service so much last time. Both still fantastic, friendly attentive staff, nothing was too much bother and always had a sense of humour. The food as always was excellent, and always as we've ordered. Cannot fault it at all and look forward to returning (again!).

Not been in a few years but the food is still incredible and the staff were friendly! Prices had increased but they have everywhere so I can't complain :) Only downside is they add the service charge to the bill and I hadn't realised until I paid. But will definitely go again as the food is soo good!

We always try to visit El Toro when we visit Hull. This time we had the set menu on Saturday. The food was excellent and the service first class. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to our next visit to Hull and El Toro.

Amazing experience at El Toro this afternoon. Myself and my guest had a number of allergies which we communicated in quite short notice when making our booking due to a last minute change in plans. Beth and Rachel on shift went above and beyond our expectations to cater to our allergies as soon as they were made aware of them and listed out the options we could safely choose from. The chef Alberto came to personally double check with us any alterations he could make to the menu to give us great dishes which were full of flavour. Many thanks to Alberto, Beth and Rachel for an excellent dining experience!

Food was lovely and the staff were really nice. Restaurant was busy but the food came out quickly each time. Really good value for money, as well.

We visited on a Tuesday for the food offer that they had on and upon arriving was informed that they had a very loud group of guys in and would we rather sit outside. It was starting to cool off so we said we’d rather not. The staff member immediately suggested opening up the upstairs area for us and couldn’t have been more helpful. The service was brilliant. The food was absolutely perfect and even better. The ribs starter just fell off the bone and the portion sizes were great. Great atmosphere. Will definitely return

Food is always lovely here, opted for the all you can eat menu and it’s perfect when you want to try abit of everything! Staff always very friendly and attentive, we love to go here and will return

Lovely evening at El Toro with friends, all you can eat menu , lots of delicious options. Would highly recommend.

Most welcoming pub around, fantastic line in beers , lager and cider, friendly staff, fabulous food and great atmosphere, can’t fault it .

5* service , absolutely fantastic good great selection and authentic even my teen boys who can be picky eaters enjoyed every bite trying various dishes. Sangria was beaut ❤️ cocktails highly recommended. Staff excellent and friendly , very welcoming and outstanding all around x

I’ve been here a fair few times over the years but it’s a treat, my favourite restaurant in Hull. The Tapas is always fresh and so tasty, the place has never once been a disappointment. The staff have always been fantastic . Can’t recommend more highly
