We have now visited the Aegean on three separate occasions and always find the food to be great, however the atmosphere is what you go for. If you want to feel like you are on a Greek island sipping wine with friends this is the place for you. Service is slightly slow and not particularly attentive but not so much as it spoils your visit, we'll be back
The Aegean Taverna – HullAmazing restaurant, the food was phenomenal! The service was excellent, allowing us to sample wines before we chose, making recommendations of wine to compliment our food. Simon was approachable and friendly and made regular effort to engage with his customers. This was my first time, will definitely be going back and bringing more friends to dine there. Beautiful.

The Aegean Taverna – HullThursday 21st July booked for 6.00pm. Very short staffed. Didn't get served with food until 6.55pm. Food not up to usual standard which is usually excellent. Just bland and missing the 'Greek' flavour we've come to know and love. Disappointed.

The Aegean Taverna – HullVisited the Aegean Taverna yesterday, we booked a table for 3pm as we prefer to eat out early. Although there was very little custom in at that time the service was good (very attentive) and the food was great! Would highly recommend!

The Aegean Taverna – HullHad the most delicious meal last at The Aegean, Newland Avenue. Food was tasty and well presented and the service was attentive with no pressure. Lovely atmosphere and beautifully decorated.

Only thing to comment on was the price of the children's cheese toasties which were some cheese melted on a bagel but cost the same as the children's burgers. Maybe 5.50 for the toastie instead of the full 7.50 for the rest of the children's menu would be more reasonable

The Aegean Taverna – HullAs always food was lovely and well presented. Only slight disappointment was that there was only 1 Kleftico left, however the spiced lamb meatballs were a very good alternative. Will have to prebook meals as well as table next time!!
