Amazing food in the beautiful new location. Lovely service, will definitely be returning again soon! 5* service and 5* food!

We attended as a party of 6 on the 16.7.21. Our booking was at 8pm. The Restaurant was full to capacity which whilst pleasing to see the minimalist decor/ lack of soft furnishings meant that it was incredibly loud and noisy and conversations were difficult to be had over the table. It took over 20 minutes to attempt to order simply a drink and the waiter who served our drinks could not take our food order. We waited another 20 minutes to have our food order taken only to be told at this point that a number of key menu items were not available. We were considering the Meter but was told at this time it was not possible. With a vegrterian in the party the choice of meals for them were limited. Our order was eventually taken and at 9.10 our starters were served. The food was good and it was ag this point we were informed a menu ordered as a main course was no no longer available. This was challenged and staff were not very hospitable simply stating what can we expect its a busy Friday night. At 9.40 our Main courses were brought as a token jesters a spicy cheese dip was offered. The main courses were large in size and good. We would consider returning knowing that previously the service and food was outstanding, however we would not recommend going on a weekend as they clearly could not cope with the demand of so many covers.

Would highly recommend great food & friendly staff. The night we went was really hot so it was great that the doors were fully open. With no holidays abroad this year it at least gave us the feeling on being in Greece

Came here Friday night with best mate table booked for 7.30 pm . Service was very slow but the food was perfect value for money .Friendly staff was busy so took a long time for food to come after ordering ,but will not stop me from going again as food ,staff were great .Atmosphere and decor was like being back on holiday in greece.

Our first time and we chose the Meze as recommended on the menu for those who can't decide or have little knowledge of Greek food. We were surprised at the portion sizes, we were expecting 'tasters' of several dishes but the portions were big. 9 starters, 3 fish, 4 meats plus bread, rice, salad, chips etc. All in all way too much, needless to say 'doggy bag', but great value for money. There was no draught beer but the bottled Greek beer was OK. Scored 4/5 for the atmosphere as it was a Monday evening and not a lot going on. All the meals seemed reasonably priced and the Calypso coffee to round off the evening was one of the best.

Visited on 10/07/2021 Had an Excellent Meal Quality Produce Great Value Drinks, and It was an Excellent Value Meal,OnThe Whole Great Service From Very Sociable Informative Staff,But Felt a Little Rushed When Our Main Courses Were Placed on Our Table When We Still Needed 5-10 Minutes Longer to Finish Our Starters We have visited previous location Many Times and were impressed by the New Restaurant which we will definately visit again soon Thoroughly Recommended If You Can't Go to Greece Go to Agean Restaurant.

Very good food

Hello. I was very dissatisfied with the service yesterday. I booked the table to celebrate my mum's 50th birthday and was pretty much told to get it wrapped up by 18:00. When a table is booked it's booked. My pregnant sister and my mums pork was very undercooked. Literally raw. The seasonal vegetables was just frozen vegetables. Pay 2.50 for that isn't great. I used to enjoy the food but you've gone massively down hill. I was skeptical to even eat here as I was served a bug with my food when you was doing deliveries. The night was ruined. My little sister was crying and didn't get anything to eat and no apology. Very ashamed with the shit service.

Great food, good service and ambience.So pleased for agean @ newland in their new venue.Was overcrowded - gr8 to see but a bit worrying with Covid times still not fully over.

Food was absolutely amazing. The drinks was very nice. Only thing that let it down was that the staff spent most of the evening in arguments amongst themselves in a very animated fashion which dampened an otherwise lovely experience

5* for food, 5* for service, 5* for price. Have not had such a great meal since eating in (non tourist) Cyprus restaurant. Food is extremely fresh, delicious and good portion sizes. Had a lot worse in this area for a lot more money. Staff are very attentive and it was no problem when I had to change the day and time of my booking. Clean and relaxed friendly atmosphere a true Taverna. Will be visiting again x

This was our first visit to the new premises and it was just as good as the old. The surroundings may be different but it still has that Greek feeling about it The deco is lovely and the food as always AMAZING!!! It is so authentic Can’t wait to visit again soon

Lovely ambience and staff food was excellent quite pricy I thought but good for a special occasion

Absolutely beautiful food was really nice loverly restaurant nice portion sizes I had the kofte lamb kebab which were outstanding and my wife the salmon which said was loverly and fresh and restaurant that will do great things loverly atmosphere

Was asked to leave a review, unfortunatly its a negative review. Booked a table and was allocated right at back of restuarant, near the open kitchen which would have been hot and noisy. Asked if we could be moved, was told not possible, even tho lots of empty tables were there. We didnt stay even tho we had travelled from Grimsby, we turned right back home again. Been before and went numerous times whilst was in previous location and its always been lovely atmosphere and nice food. Not sure about going again? At the risk of getting allocated same area? Im rating it not good customer service on this occasion.
