Plus points its cheap and that's all i can say is good about the place. Nothing was clean & the service was awful, small portions that did not taste that great. I would of walked out but was in a group.

Giant Panda – HullWhat a excellent restaurant, food and service were excellent, you must try the meze to start with, you can choose your own combination and the main course the lamb was brilliantly cooked. Also try the early diner offer with 25% off between 5pm and 7pm
Saffron Restaurant – HullI have often been sceptical about reviews but having visited Medici several times this year, they have never failed to deliver. So I thought for once I would write my own comments. Set in a beautiful mansion hall the decor, service and ambience is only out classed by the quality of the food. In addition to a superb menu the restaurant provides local and seasonal dishes on its special board with many dishes being worthy of a place in any top London venue. First class ingredients, cooked fresh and to order, presented as you would expect from a first class restaurant. Well worth any recommendation. Try it book make sure you book well in advance.
Medici Restaurant – HullCould do with a facelift. Has little to offer, apart from to the seasoned local. Didn't stick around to eat - does it sell food?
Anlaby Park Hotel – HullWhat a great atmosphere, and a fantastic meal. Friendly feel to the place, and the homemade steak pie was superb, served with real chips too. No frozen stuff here. The B & B rooms are definitely worth their 4* rating, and the hearty breakfast was just the reviver we needed. We would recommend this to anyone, and we are returning very soon - we intend to try the fabulous Sunday Roast dinner that the other diners were raving about. Great job, and credit to Sue the landlady for all the changes she has made.
Whittington and Cat – HullMust be the best value for money breakfast in Hull. Try the big one if you are feeling peckish.
Admiral of the Humber, The – HullWe went to the ship for my sons birthday and we have a very good meal. We eat out a lot and were very pleased with the taste, portions and service. I would recommend that if you have a party of 4 then ring them, they are very welcoming and make arrangement for you.
Ship Inn – Hullroos arms is a lovely pub set in the heart of east Yorkshire and bears the villages coat of arms.it is more recognised as its fellow opponent the black horse.the black horse currently ius a drinking man's club and the roos arms is the restaurant of roos.as i have visited on more then 1 occasion the food is wealthy in full quality and rich taste.i recommend the pub as a good food guide of were to eat.the restaurants very own alister gray meets and greets his customers, this is why the pub is very popular in the season of harvest.
Roos Arms – HullA group of us Visited Medici on saturday 9th August to celebrate my daughters birthday. Food and Service the best i have had in quite a long time, it was excellent from the moment we arrived. It was well worth travelling over the bridge for. My first visit but definitely not my last.
Medici Restaurant – HullCelebrated a friend's 50th Birthday at this restaurant on Thursday 24 July for the first time since it refurbishment and thoroughly enjoyed the night. We were very impressed with the upgrade of the place especially the furniture & decoration. The staff were very pleasant but most importantly the carvery was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The Oyster Catcher – HullOut on the edge of town in a peaceful setting. Almost 200 years old, at the junction of several footpaths. Loads of parking space and no through traffic. Tables out in front of the pub and a covered patio area at the back. Bar has lots of nooks and crannies with pool, darts and TV. Five well kept cask ales and the usual lagers etc. Restaurant does cabaret at most weekends and food is served from 12 noon to 9pm, every day. Sunday's is a carvery with a choice of 3 roast meats & fresh vegetables. This is a pub for all the family - a real jewel.
Haven Arms – HullMedici restaurant is a hidden gem!!! It belongs in London or at least in a big city where it would have people queuing down the street, seven days of the week!! It offers an extensive menu boasting everything from excellent Italian pizza to michelin star quality dishes. Whats so great about Medici is that you can take your kids for a discounted quick bite( before 7pm) or bring your boss/company director to impress whilst dining in a sophisticated yet warm and welcoming atmosphere. The local residents need to appreciate how lucky they are having such a restaurant on their doorstep. By far one of the best restaurants in Yorkshire. Take my advice and go. you wont be sorry!!!
Medici Restaurant – HullI recently had my wedding and reception at Mr Chu China Palace they catered for 100 during the day time and 300 at the night time at the function room below. My guests were from all corners of the uk including a well respected restauranter from the London City ..We are still being told it is "simply the Best" The firework display, dragon dance, service hospitality was second to none my southern friends fell in love with the place. Finally but not least the food was outstanding quality, right temperature and enormous amounts that my friends were convinced I must have paid in excess of £50 a head not so, it was very reasonable priced ..My wedding went down as the Wedding of the decade by all of my guest on the evening and night..Thank You Mr Chu you are a credit to Yorkshire and Hull..Geoff & Janet
Mr Chu China Palace – HullWe visited Medici on Wednesday 16th July 2008, the food and service was first class. Everything that was served to us was delicious, the tiramisu excellent. Medici is now on our list to visit regularly. Also we arrived during family time and was given a 30% discount.
Medici Restaurant – HullBeing half Thai I can honestly say don't visit if you expect to be served Thai food. Very bland and boring, will not be visiting again. The staff and decor are very nice though.....
Thai House Restaurant – HullI have dined here on and off over the last few years and have never been disappointed. The authentic cuisine, friendliness of the staff and quaint ambiance make this by far my favorite place to dine in Hull.
Bond Street Restaurant & Bar – HullI recently visited the Oyster Catcher Hull due to the refurbishment taking place and the change of diners. On arrival into the restaurant it looked fantastic and greatly welcoming. This was the only good of the whole restaurant. The staff are unknowledgable of the products and slow at service. We were seated by a young lady no older than 20 and was introduced to another no older than 16. it took 40 mins for our starter to come out and another 20 to be took to the carvery area. The meat was very dry and the vegetables undercooked. The prices that you pay for the food are high considering the quality of food you receive. All in all I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. Bad service and bad quality of food.
The Oyster Catcher – Hullbest Indian restaurant in hull *great food *great service *very nice restaurant *must try the chicken tikka jalfrezi people try it now trust me
Madras, The – HullIf you cannot decide what you would like try the Meze - a selection of starters, fish, meat & salad dishes for £34.
Or our Meat Platter for 2 is £26.50 per person.
