Sailmakers Arms, The – HullHaving been to many Thai restaurants both in Hull and the surrounding area, I can honestly say this is the best Thai and certainly a contender for best restaurant in the city. The staff are both efficient and extremely pleasant, the decor makes you feel like you've stepped out of Hull and into Thailand itself! The food is excellent value for money and can cater to both people who love their hot/spicy food and those who can't. I especially loved the red curry, which was just perfect. Just about anything on the menu can be made with various vegetarian options, which delighted my veggie wife. Indeed, I hear the Thai House is very popular amongst vegetarians in Hull. I have been a few times (can't get enough!) and is extremely busy on most nights, especially the weekend, which is always a good sign.
Thai House Restaurant – HullWere to begin? i travelled up to Hull for Easter weekend for a much awaited family get together. On the Sunday we all decided that we would go out and have a lovely roast dinner and had heard about The Hase in Hessle and how good the food and the service was so we thought we would try it out. as soon as we walked in you could feel the friendly, happy atmosphere and was shown to our seats by a very polite waitress who for the rest of our evening was brilliant. The food was amazing and was surprised to receive that quality of food from a pub. I would just like to thank the owners of the Hase (Carole Maughan and Dave Ainsworth) for making the evening so enjoyable and will not hesitate to go again. Thank you.
Hase – HullI've been going to this family owned restaurant for over 30 years. The chef is now in his seventies and absolutely no one in Hull comes close to his skills. No meal is ever a disappointment. I've never seen anyone complain.
The Lantern Restaurant – HullWe had a very nice time. The atmosphere was good and the food was delicious - cant wait to go again.
Thai House Restaurant – Hullfriendly pub, both locals and staff atmosphere was warming
Priory Inn – HullWe visit here very often as it has good Indian food, very friendly staff and quick service, what more could you want? On top of this the restaurant is open very late and they operate a BYOB policy without corkage charge which makes it even more affordable.
Rays Manzil Balti Restaurant – Hullthe duke of york is a warm and friendly village pub .recently decorated to a high standard.home cooking is a major feature, with the home made steak pie a must whenever you visit .warm and friendly staff welcome you .a variety of beers ,lagers.ciders, and choice of wine makes this one of the best food pubs in hull.fr
Duke of York – HullWe thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Operetta. The ingredients were obviously fresh and authentic. The special board is one to look out for. We regularly eat at Operetta and we are never disappointed.
Bond Street Restaurant & Bar – Hullwell worth a visit .pam the landlady or the girls will serve you up a brilliant mix grill, yum yum yum nice. try it. lots to pick from
Sportsmans Bar The – HullWhat a well run place i loved it when i went on Sunday for a family meal. staff are friendly nice food good price really 100% would recommend to anyone
The Manor Farm – HullThis is an absolutely fantastic place, I?e been several times and I?e always been very pleased. The food is very good even though it is extremely cheap, £13.50 each, even cheaper during the day! I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Aroma – HullMy family and i attended the blue bell on Christmas day 2006, and the food was impeccable. The service on both the bar and restaurant was great even though they were very busy
Blue Bell Inn – HullThis pub do Giant Yorkshire puddings cooked in a bread tin with your fave filling running through the middle! they are absolutely delicious! Its not the nicest looking pub decor wise but all of the locals and staff are friendly and the food is spot on!
Crooked Billet – HullI really love this restaurant. The food is modern and fresh, the atmosphere addictive and the staff always look like they are having so much fun. It makes a real difference! It's the first place I can say that the food is so consistent everytime i go. I love love love it!
Fudge Cafe and Restaurant – HullWe popped in this typical town pub, with its very impressive frontage, for lunch on our visit to Hull. The food was enjoyable but nothing special and the only ?eal ale?available was John Smiths. A jukebox provided the music. Not a bad pub for a quick pint and a spot of lunch.
Empress, The – HullThe food at fudge is truly tremendous, and for that reason it's my favourite place to eat in Hull. The chicken satay noodles are particularly excellent - though if you're going to Fudge, you go because of the desserts! Try the Fudge sundae - it's incredible! Everything's modern and fresh - it can't be beaten.
Fudge Cafe and Restaurant – HullReally great place to eat out for a special event. Amazing food - interesting decor (felt like I was in a farm house but liked the rustic look). Staff were great as well. Nice location as well - lots of cafe/bars around to go before or after.
Boars Nest – HullIf you cannot decide what you would like try the Meze - a selection of starters, fish, meat & salad dishes for £34.
Or our Meat Platter for 2 is £26.50 per person.
