This is such a dependable restaurant, despite its changes, over the years. The menu variety and quality are the best for miles and we’ll worth the journey. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff are exceptional. There’s a lovely new outdoor area - a great viewpoint for the sunset or moonset. I’m just praying the new farmer has the good foresight to reinstate the associated runway as the restaurant is a favourite with the aviation community nationally.

Fathers Day menu was great...loads of choice and everyone had great food. The service was excellent. Our granddaughter, aged 3, was served very quickly before everyone else as she was hungry - her food was great and promise of things to come. Nice to be back in a restaurant with a nice buzz of conversation!

Our Fathers Day lunch at the pheasant was excellent, lovely welcoming staff, comfortable setting, superb food, highly recommend going there for a meal/drink. We will be visiting again. Thank you all for a lovely time.

Lunch 18th June. This was only our second meal out since Burns night last year as we have been shielding for 16 months so we were both very much looking forward to it. The Pheasant under new management certainly did not disappoint. All the team, with the lovely Zoe at the helm were welcoming, kind and attentive. They went out of their way to make us feel special and comfortable. I had looked at the menus online beforehand and there are so many delicious delights across three menus it made choosing tricky. The delicious bread, freshly baked each day is not to be resisted. My husband likes to think of himself as a bit of a creme brûlée connoisseur as it’s his favourite and he said this one was up there with the best...I agree. We both enjoyed the wines Zoe recommended along with the scallops, pork belly and steak. The refurb is tastefully done and social distancing well observed with ample space between tables. Highly recommended, we will return again soon. Only thing is, we discovered on the way home that neither of us had left a tip...both thinking the other had it covered sorry guys will double it next time. Thanks for a lovely day.

First time since new management, very impressed! Lovely food, great service and i noticed a very nice looking new outside seating area which we shall be giving a go when the weather improves

We visited on 19/6/21 .. 4 of us . We were all very pleased with the service and food quality. I did say to a member of staff how impressed we were with all staff customer service skills .. keep it up and you will attract a lot of guests .

We had a brilliant meal last night, the food, service and ambiance was first class, already booked again for next Saturday can’t wait.

Had a lovely meal this week at The Peasant. We were seated inside this old pub/inn, but saw a lovely seating area outside as well. plenty of parking. The food was excellent, with interesting beautifully cooked food as ever. Highly recommended.

Wow! The Pheasant has always been a favourite and visited with trepidation as it is under new management. No need to worry. Absolutely fabulous on all fronts. Thoroughly recommend. Great food, good service and very nice refurb too.

Once again we had a stunning meal at the pheasant. Spoil for choice with the menu and I’ve already picked what I’m having next time. Service was seriously good with Zoe and her team. Can’t wait to go back.

We ate at the Pheasant last night and were very happy with all aspects. The food was good, with a lovely atmosphere. The young staff are friendly and helpful, all skillfully run by Zoe the manager. We will be back!!

Absolutely fantastic in every way. Please don't ever take the scallops off the menu.

A beautifully refurbished country pub with the new addition of a fantastic outdoor space. We went for Sunday lunch yesterday but, as it was too hot for a roast, I opted for the risotto, which was delicious. The service was friendly, prompt and attentive. My friends were very impressed with their food choices (fish and chips and tagine) and can't wait for a return visit. Big thumbs up and welcome back for The Pheasant!

Myself and my husband had a lovely late Sunday lunch here yesterday, Front of house staff very pleasant and friendly and keen to assist in the menus. Food was excellent and great value for money, we both had the 3 course Sunday lunch, would not hesitate to come again. Out door area very inviting although we chose to eat inside.

My Mum treated us to a lovely Sunday lunch we sat in the tastefully done patio garden overlooking fields and highland cattle. Service was excellent and great choice of menu. My roast beef was absolutely delicious and my husband's haddock and chips had that freshly made appeal. Most definitely be back and well worth the 20 minutes drive from Huntingdon. Lovely personal aspect to the service, so much better than dining out somewhere owned by a corporate chain. We wish the owners of this new venture all the best, we will be back to see them again soon.

So wonderful to have The Pheasant open again. The new owners are delightful, the front of house team fantastic and the food excellent. A welcome addition to the local dining scene. Looking forward to enjoying the outside area this summer - it had always seemed to me a shame there was not more outside space and it has been updated beautifully. Congratulations to the team!

This was the first time my husband and I had been out for a meal since late 2020! what a treat! great food, lovely service and so pleased to see this pub back on its feet. We'll be back
