Spent an enjoyable afternoon at the newly opened, revamped Pheasant, cannot fault the service, and the food was reliably good. So glad the restaurant is open again and the seating outside was a welcome addition. We will be returning!

We had a truly excellent meal at The Pheasant last night. The service was superb from arrival where we sat in the lovely garden and had a drink right through to table service. The food was delicious but not in any way pretentious. I had Scallops for starter that were fresh and perfectly cooked and a Flat Iron Steak for main course that was Medium Rare and so tender. We will be booking to return again very soon.

So nice to be able to eat at The Pheasant again, since it closed, just before lockdown last March. Zoe and Martin's menu with a wide range of dishes, showcasing local produce bodes well for maintaining The Pheasant's previous reputation. The food was perfectly cooked and presented. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Pheasant is back! We dined on the night of reopening after a 15 month closure. The entire staff had changed so we expected a few hiccups, but everything was perfect. From a very friendly reception, through a fantastic meal and drinks, we were made to feel very welcome. Zoe and Martin have maintained the same level of food, service and atmosphere that has earned the Pheasant Cambridgeshire Dining Pub of the year in the recent past. I have no doubt they will achieve that honour again very soon. The Pheasant is once again our go-to pub-restaurant for a top drawer meal and experience.

We've eaten at the Mill twice in the last fortnight, we are going again today, taking our parents to enjoy the beautiful new restaurant with lovely happy staff gorgeous food from a great menu. Wonderful atmosphere. Only slight downside the upgraded ladies toilet facilities will not stay nice for long if the cleaners continue to fall short with their cleaning skills, I could teach them a thing or two.

Disapointed

No clean room or bathroom. Strange innkeeper, not exactly open for comment. 4 beds in one room?! No value for money.

I cannot praise & recommend this pub highly enough, the staff are so friendly and welcoming they make everybody welcome. The extensive food menu has to be seen to be believed & is truly of 5 star quality but at pub prices, add to this an excellent choice of real ales and wines & you can understand why this pub is so popular and well worth visiting.

The King of the Belgians – Huntingdon
Pub Spy

Said to be "the preferred ale house" of Oliver Cromwell who was born and lived in the area, this pub established in 1541 is a firm favorite with local people & also has a worldwide following of guests that have visited and made a point of returning from all four corners of the globe. The pub's reputation for fine food, well kept real ales & value for money is second to none.
