Love this place! Such a friendly welcoming environment. Food is delicious and the location is lovely. This is the 5th time I’ve been! Always my go to place for food and drink with friends when out in Margate.

Lovely family meal. Food was tasty, service was excellent.

A lovely meal, the Haddock scotch egg was a fantastic starter. The staff were excellent and helpful. We would recommend highly.

We booked through Sugarvine and turned up at the correct time on the correct day to find the restaurant closed. We phoned the contact number which did not pick up and we gave up after 25 mins when no one arrived to open up, my booking had been confirmed. Very disappointed.

Slab was recommended to us by a friend and it was one of our best decisions to go. We were a party of 6 but got served very quickly and together. The food was delicious, hot and extremely tasty. We will definitely go again

Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch. Booking was very simple and space to write any special requirements. Lovely warm greeting on arrival and great customer service throughout. Happy for our pram and provided help with babies bottle. Puddings we’re delicious!!

This was our first time back since they’ve changed to the new menu and we weren’t disappointed we all had a different dish from the menu and they were all delicious Yet another fantastic restaurant in Margate.

The pizza was nice. But was over charged a blood orange spritz which was £11 extra on the bill. The service wasnt great they "forgot" to put gin in my last gin and tonic worth £11. Need a bigger selection of desserts too

We had an excellent meal on the Bank Holiday weekend. The welcome and service were first rate. We were told we were amongst the first to try the new menu. My wife had pork belly and I had lamb shoulder both delicious. Followed by lemon tart which we shared. Washed down with a few glasses of val rose and Sauvignon blanc served crisp and cold as they should be. The host also gave us a couple of sweet digestifs on the house. We sat outside and it was warm and sunny and started off our day trip to Margate really well. I would thoroughly recommend the Slab.

We enjoyed a lovely meal with very friendly service. We had a number of delicious tapas with a freebie thrown in. 5 small dishes were quite enough for 2. We thought some candles on the tables would have helped the ambience and to mark the transition to an evening venue.

We were recommended by a friend and, I must admit, probably would never have gone hadwe not been recommended. We were very pleased in every way we did. The food was excellent. The venue was comfortable and welcoming and it was certainly value for money. We will certainly be returning and recommending it to other people.

Amazing Food, Amazing service, Staff were really friendly and went the extra mile to add to the celebrations of what was our wedding anniversary. Will definitely go back again. Highly recommend A******
