Lovely.!! Welcome Food Atmosphere Service Beer Enough said!

We holiday in Keswick every year and always make the Pheasant Inn the place for our meal on the final night, knowing that we won't be disappointed. The food is always high quality and reasonably priced and the service is good. We had steak pie and Scottish salmon, which were excellent quality. The food was served timely, and the table service was attentive - in some bars/restaurants you can struggle to get attention, but at the Pheasant Inn the attentive staff made sure our glasses were never empty! The online booking system is an added bonus. I would suggest booking in advance to avoid disappointment as the Pheasant Inn is very popular.

First time we've had a Sunday roast at The Pheasant and it's definitely where we will go in the future as the food and service were first class

What we loved about The Pheasant was the excellent variety on the dinner menu. Dishes on our visit included venison, pheasant, red snapper, trout & a particularly tasty fish pie. It made you want to return to try something different.

We had a delicious dinner at The Pheasant Inn, hot food succulently cooked with lots of fresh cooked veges. A great atmosphere for enjoying good food and wine. Throughly recommend this pub restaurant it’s much much better than most.

Last night of our holiday, had booked on recommendation, certainly not one of your swish plastic funky pubs, in fact gives the impression you have just walked into a 1900’s front room. Don’t be put off all pleased to see you. shown to your table, judging by the next 90 minutes very popular. Service prompt, food outstandingly good prices in line with most decent eating establishments. Unfortunately not on our doorstep being 300 miles away, but if you haven’t tried I suggest you do. Booked a table at The Pheasant to celebrate my birthday on the last day of our holiday. The atmosphere was great, the welcome warm, and the food and service amazing! Food was also value for money as the portions were good. We have already decided to come back to Keswick next year, so The Pheasant is definitely on our list for a return visit! East to book,attention to table as soon as we sat down ,drinks ordered and after a few minutes food order taken. Excellent food choice and excellent food at a very reasonable price . Very pleasant and well mannered staff in very busy visit. Been visiting Keswick for years and always book the Pheasant.

We had a superb meal at The Pheasant, the service was excellent, thanks Becca, the atmosphere was great and we will definitely return.

The food was very good and tasty. A little tight for room with the tables being so close together!

Excellent steak pie. Loved every bite. Ordering and service takes a bit to get used to, but the folks are wonderful and pleasant to deal with.

Excellent food and service. Booked for dinner while staying in Keswick. At the end of the evening booked again for dinner another night. Recommend.

Four of us had a lovely meal. Great tasting and a good variety of dishes. Accompanying vegetables well cooked and a nice choice. Easy to book a dog friendly table in the bar. Great atmosphere, it was busy , but staff were timely and in their serving and got all of our orders correct. We’ll return again

Every plate emptied. Range of food to suit everyone. Friendly prompt service. Really lovely evening.
