Had lunch Saturday this weekend and have to say the food was delicious! We had the winter salad and a burger washed down with some fruity smoothies. Service was friendly and quick too! We would highly recommend, little gem in Keswick!

We were a group of 10 with various tastes and requirements and all enjoyed the choices available on the menu. The portion size was generous. The staff were polite and attentive. We will return.

Fabulous food and wonderful service. Just wish we lived 100 miles closer.

Table for 3. Lovely choice of meals. Very accommodating to one member who is dairy free. All 3 meals were lovely, very tasty & well presented. Staff very friendly and helpful. Portions perfect after a very long walk on the fells. Been before & never been disappointed. Thank you

The food here is always excellent. We’ve been several times whilst visiting Keswick. A good range of choices, super tasty and fresh. Whether you want something indulgent or more healthy. The menu changes too so there is always a reason to go back (although I love that the works burger stays there!) Staff are also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Arrived at a busy Sunday lunchtime and so glad we had booked a table. The roast beef Sunday lunch was fantastic and a generous portion too! Highly recommended

Lovely cosy pub with nice fire. We both had the beef pie with chips and veg. Pie was lovely as were the chips. Gravy was loaded with dried thyme which was very overpowering and didn’t taste nice at all. Just hearty beef gravy would have been nicer.

It was a very busy Saturday evening so service was a little slow but the food was fantastic. We would definitely come again.

Wow we were so pleased with our meal. We had the beef pie and the chicken/leek/ ham pie (on the specials board) and it was sooo tasty!

Whenever we are in the Lake District we make a point of going to the pheasant, even when It means going out of our way to do so. Always superb food at excellent prices with a warm welcome, what more can you ask for ?

I opted for this venue after reading many good reviews and it certainly didn't disappoint. Despite it being a weekend at the beginning of half term we were welcomed with warmth and seated quickly. The food was superb and the atmosphere was lovely, unfortunately due to being short staffed, they were closed the next two nights otherwise I wouldn't have hesitated to book for the next evening. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in Keswick!
