Never had a vegatarian meal before but had heard great things about Plant by Kats Kitchen They made the most amazing cakes as a cafe sc vas intrigued to try as an evening meal Wow, amazing food. Such amazing flavours Everything is quality, from the apple and elderflower juice through all the starters, mains and puddings The pate was so smooth and flavoursome, The mushroom starter. Omg. Better than eating scallops. The Ramen was a taste delight. The burger was actually better than any beefburger ve eaten. The Baluga dahl again was bursting with flavour. Btw I didnt have all these, but I always have to have a taste of everyones Moving on to deserts. My daughter had the sticky toffee pudding with custard. Omg it was so light. Kat and Nigel were such perfect hosts. A fabulous meal in a perfect setting with great hosts. It was like being invited round to friends who are smazing cooks I think we might just be back again.

Second time we have visited (while on holiday) and again did not disappoint. Very friendly service and food was excellent both in choice and quality, with good selection of drinks. Will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

Fast becoming our favourite place for Sunday lunch. Love that you can order a smaller portion, which is still a great plate of food. Staff are just lovely and the lunch delicious and reasonable! We will be back!

First ever visit to the Pheasant and was not disappointed The beef pie is absolutely delicious. The chips and veg was cooked to perfection too. If you want home cooking then this is the place to come . The barman was very welcoming and friendly will definitely come back

Table of 5 for a 6pm dinner - friendly greeting & service with excellent and generous plates - venison and Lakeland Lamb Henry choices went down beautifully; and great ale & wine to accompany them.

Even in the winter months this bar is busy. Strongly recommend you book. The food is immense, the staff attentive. There’s a reason we keep coming back

First ever visit to the Pheasant Inn whilst on our annual holiday to Keswick. We booked (essential) for a Sunday Lunch . The staff are wonderful and friendly and the good was delicious and plentiful, It was so good we booked for an evening meal later in the week as we wanted to try their homemade pie and chips. Highly recommended.

Lovely food, great service, very nice atmosphere and well priced. There were 9 of us in total and everybody commented positively about their dinner. We will certainly be back next time we are in Keswick.

This is without a doubt our number one stop-off in Keswick. The food is always fabulous, we love the setting and the service is spot on too.

Came for Sunday roast, the place was just as lively as could be. The staff were wonderful, so nice and cheerful despite the fact they were running their feet off! We enjoyed every bite. Lots of vegetables, everything was just what we wanted it to be.

Excellent pub food in a pub with a lovely cozy atmosphere. We were a large group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. House wine was enjoyed too. We will definitely eat here again when we are in Keswick again.

Best pub food I've ever had. Table service brilliant, staff super helpful and eager to please, food 'out of this world'. Only issue I have is that the portions are too big
