Bistrot Pierre – Leamington SpaPopped in wed 26th April about 4 in the afternoon a booked a table. from there on things went down hill. Had to change time and number from 2 to 4 people, they had had lost our booking. On turning up at 7.10 for our 7.15 booking, they had a job finding our booking. They were using to books to list bookings. They were quick to come to take drinks order, some of the simple drinks we asked for they did not have. we then had a long wait before any one came to take our order. from then on went from bad to worst. No meal was coming and after a long time asked for our meal, was told it was on its way 15 mins later asked again for our meal just being plated up, 10 more mins and still no meal. We gave up then and went to leave. I asked for the manager, who was not there and had to deal with a very rude underling. who did not careless. will be a long time before we set foot in that place.
The Heathcote Inn – Leamington SpaThis was my first visit to Five Rivers since recent refurbishment. I must admit that the new decor was, in my opinion, rather disappointing. The staff were very polite, athough it did take a while to sort out a suitable table for our party of seven even though a booking had been made and the general service was rather slow.Another disappointment was that we were presented with cold plates from which to eat our main meals. This was quickly sorted, however, following a low key complaint. On the positive side, the food was of excellent quality - I had a Babari Seekh starter followed by a main of North Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken with Mushroom and Jeera Rice. Both starter and main were delicious. Would certainly visit again hoping that the service will have improved. The Curry Monster
Five Rivers – Leamington SpaHave been using The Millennium Balti for some months now. Always a warm and friendly greeting. Excellent food, staff always ready to help and advise. Beware the chilli pakora! The Curry Monster
The Millennium Balti – Leamington Spavery Bland, poorly cooked, overpriced food. Very poor house white. Fast service, pleasant waiter, until faced with complaint about undercooked and bloody pork, when told we buy it raw but normally cook it!No apology or recompense New restaurant, won't be here in 6 months. Don't waste your money or time
Gallus Mediterranean Restaurant – Leamington SpaThe best Indian In Midlands.
Kayal – Leamington SpaService: Non existant Manners: Extremely rude and abusive Recommended: Definitely not! Having ordered my usual medium hot vegetable bhuna I was disappointed to find the heat overwhelming and inedible. Not to worry I thought they would put this minor discrepancy right immediately. Right? WRONG! After having argued with me about how his Bhuna tastes different I insisted he made it again but milder. Reluctantly he did so assuring me that this was his own special recipe this time. Out came an exact replica of the first curry and he disappeared so that we could not complain again. He then charged us for the uneaten curry and continued to argue with me as we were leaving. Needless to say we won't be visiting again.
King Baba Indian Cuisine – Leamington SpaOver the half term break my family and I went walking in Warwickshire and stumbled across this pub. We hadn't checked any reviews but felt compelled to do so after our visit. My husband had the lamb on the menu and I had fish. The meals were out of this world and the cost of these meals was extremely low in comparison to the high quality food we had eaten. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was wonderful and we had a wonderful time in Warwickshire. Our next walk will surely take us back to this venue to try out another of their wonderful dishes
Kings Head – Leamington SpaVisited this pub three weeks ago with my partner and daughter. The meals we had were amazing. Cooked to perfection with not one sign of microwaved rubbish in sight. Have not eaten anywhere like this, the quality and the price were amazing. Much to my surprise, the beer was also fantastic and hopefully this place has been mentioned in the Good Beer Guide because it certainly deserves to be. Will be back to see you soon lovely Michelle the chef and Mr Quinlan and the fab locals
Kings Head – Leamington SpaWe came across this pub whilst out walking with my family. We spent the whole afternoon in there eating and drinking. Fantastic atmosphere and really friendly local people who made our stay welcome. The food was outstanding and i would highly recommend this pub to anyone!! Will definitely be going again
Kings Head – Leamington SpaThis village pub was one of the friendliest pubs I have been to in Warwickshire. The locals were obviously regulars there and they made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent and on part with any high class London restaurant I have been to, except at a third of the price!! I met one of the chef's Michelle, who spoke about her work and the food they prepared. Extremely impressed and would recommend this place to anyone, worth a drive or a walk, and beautiful countryside surrounding the area
Kings Head – Leamington SpaEasy-friendly service and atmosphere. Seasonal fresh menu that is not ridiculously extensive. Good home cooked style food that is great value (£7.25 for two courses when we had lunch) and with a mature service. Really enjoyed the experience. Thanks Seasons!
Seasons Restaurant – Leamington SpaNewly reopened THE NEWBOLD is a Great Pub for food and drink Close to the town centre, The Royal Priors Shopping Complex, The Royal Spa Centre, The Jephson Gardens and the Cinema.
The Newbold – Leamington Spafood is 1st class beautiful restaurant great value waiters are all sexy lol
Paprika Club – Leamington SpaThis was a dreadful eating experience. I went with a large mixed party and there were over 20 of us but although we had booked well in advance it took over an hour for our starter to arrive. Although the Kalamari that i ordered was nice it was nothing special and there was not a lot for the £4.95 that it cost although it was attractively served in a little silver pail. The penne della casa was just bacon chicken mushroom and spinach mingling with some overbaked around the edges penne pasta and was absolutely swimming in olive oil. It was bland and boring even with loads of parmesan cheese grated over the top. Other diners were complaining about the pizza (or lack of it) : the toppings were none existent and the base boring, tough and uninspiring. Not a good eating experience and I would not recommend visiting.
Zizzi – Leamington SpaExcellent, reasonably priced pub food. Great family run service. Lovely sunny garden too.
The New Inn – Leamington SpaCame here on recommendation, and I must say this is the best experience I've ever had in a Indian restaurant. The moment I entered, was greeted so warmly, then sat down in lounge and not rushed, very good professional team in this place. We had lots of food and it was just spot on. I'm proud to have a Restaurant like this our town.
