The food and value was brilliant, bento boxes, sushi and ramens were amazing. Our experience was soured however as we had booked a table in advance for 7.30 and did not get seated until 8:10. When we arrived we were told there were no tables and if we could wait 15 minutes, and sat us at the bar. A drinks order was taken while we waited but the drinks did not arrive until we were finally given a table 40 minutes later, and even then we had to remind the waiting staff drinks had been ordered. Meanwhile another group arrived and was seated at a table immediately without any explanation from staff even though both customers and staff had to squeeze past my group to get from the kitchen/bar area to the door and back (a table that we thought was being prepared for our group). Everyone on my table received mains at different times over a 20 minute period and 6 out of 7 my guests had eaten and finished when the 7th person was still waiting on food. We paid the bill in full as my wife did not like to cause a fuss, but we received no apology from staff, with no offer of a reduced bill or complimentary drink for our trouble. An apology came after my group left after paying and I brought it to the attention of the staff. Sadly not sure if I will return as I was embarrassed bringing a group of friends here after a rather incompetent display of customer service.
