Have been here several times and the food has always been fantastic. Last night I had the chilli chicken ramen and it's going to be a struggle to choose anything else off the menu in future!

Really lovely food, well presented and a great choice - we had a bento box, a sushi set, and yaki-soba, all very tasty and good value. They had Sapporo black beer which went down a treat with the spicy noodles. Lovely people - the sushi chef - who was very busy on a Saturday night - found time to thank us. Small restaurant, nively decorated, would recommend booking at busy times

Really great food as always. Didn't fancy sushi/sashimi as the weather out was really cold. Had tempura veg to start and Chicken Teryaki Bento Box for the main meal. If anything there was too much food. I left feeling very full, but everything was great tasting. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The decor is not as fancy as other Oriental places nearby. But I feel that Fuji Hiro concentrates on quality and authenticity over a fancy interior. My only concern is the waiting time, which can be unpredictable. So, if you're in a rush, this might not be a good choice.

Excellent every time. The food is amazing and served quickly which is perfect when you only have an hour lunch-break :)

Fuji Hiro is our favourite place to get sushi. The sushi and sashimi are always exceptional, and the staff are helpful and friendly. The food can take some time to arrive so be prepared, but believe me it is well worth the wait! Book in advance as it’s a small and cosy place. Thank you to all the hard working staff who make our visits so enjoyable.

good food - the group had mostly sashimi based dinners and loved the presentation and quantity of food served. no reports of stomach upset or vomiting after sashimi which is always a good sign however, overall a relatively slow service - would not recommend for desperately hungry souls

Fresh and thick cut sashimi slices. Sushi rolls were very nice too and the fried tofu was exceptional. Would definitely go again. Gets very busy so best to book.

I love the food at The Goodluck Club. The food is tasty, value for money and great atmosphere. The staff are equally polite and friendly and generally the place has a nice vibe. :)

The Good Luck Club is one of my favourite haunts as it is near work. The food is lovely and really reasonable. The staff are great and very welcoming and there is always a good atmosphere. Just the place after work when it is cold and miserable ..it is always lovely and warm inside !

Second time I’ve eaten here and the food is fabulous. I spend quite a lot of time in Japan on business, so I know what to expect. Great choice of food, takes l longer to read the menu than eat your dinner. Mains are large, be warned.

We had the sashimi plater, bento box and unagi don. Fresh thick cut sushi and portions of food was big. Our waiter was very attentive however service was slow. Waited over an hour for food to arrive despite being the first customer! Suggest booking as limited tables and gets busy during lunch hour. Not much room for a pram. Slight confusion re: opening times. On their website states 11:30 however was told only opens at 12pm. We were allowed in as we had reservation for 11:30. Despite all of that we will definitely visit again for authentic Japanese food

Lovely meal and great staff, wasn't particularly busy but still a good atmosphere, wish it opened a little later and had more cocktails but other than that, was really nice

Once again, excellent service from the staff at GLC & those lucky loaded fries just cannot be beat!
