Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreBooked in for my birthday the other day and had a lovely time. Best ramen I’ve had in the UK so far, the restaurant is a cute little gem hidden behind the merrion centre, and not many people were dining there at the time which made for a nice intimate atmosphere. The staff gave me a free dessert with candles which made it so special. Impeccable food and great experience, will be coming back soon!
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreThis is the second time I've been and the food is amazing!! Excellent food. Excellent value staff are lovely will definitely be back again!!
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreI’ve been here a couple of times the food is amazing and the service is great. If you want great sushi and authentic Japanese food this is the place to be!!
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreKnown this place a long time, always great food & great value, staff are really nice, love the place - the gyoza are great but popular so sometimes run out - get in early :)
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreMe and my family have been coming to Fuji Hiro for YEARS, easily 15 years. I do miss the old faces but the new changes are welcome - the new additions to the menu are great, the sushi, fried chicken and steamed buns are an absolute treat but nothing will beat the best Gyoza I’ve ever had. I constantly tell people to visit Fuji hiro which I now regret as I tried to visit on a Wednesday and they were fully booked and when I went this Wednesday; I booked and it was extremely busy but staff were good even under the pressure. It is worth the wait and I can’t sing their praises enough.
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreA few suggestions for the restaurant: 1: I had a chicken katsu curry bento. Please look at your competition for ideas eg kokoro as the chicken was flat and dry. 2: Please ensure that you are using Sushi rice and not long grain rice. Long grain is more difficult to pick up with chopsticks 3: Could the waitress turn down the volume when she is talking to the kitchen staff as it sounded like she was berating them for something. the customers don't need to hear this. 4: If you are going to advertise sushi, please can it be available Positive was the free flowing green tea and the Enka music playing
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreWhat a find! I'm not often in the City centre on a working day but this is my new go to place for Business lunch / catch ups. I'm a Coeliac so great to see GF friendly dishes clearly idenitified on the menu. Really tasty food, great waiting staff and nice space.
The Goodluck Club – Leeds City CentreHidden gem of a restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed a meal here with my son after visiting the Universities. A limited menu, but fabulous quality food at a reasonable price. Loved the Asian chicken burger! It denned bee quiet for a Friday night, despite lovely surroundings. Friendly, attentive & really helpful staff. Shame there is no dessert menu, we would have stayed longer. We would recommend and return.
The Goodluck Club – Leeds City CentreI hadn’t been to Fugi hero since before lockdown. We decided to go for my birthday last minute and booked online to go on the evening. After fighting our way through rush hour traffic we were disappointed to hear that they don’t accept on the day booking. They rants need to change their booking system so people cannot book on the day. Very sad to be turned away as I had booked, my children were hungry and it was my birthday. Disappointed! The food and price were always good in the past hence the rating
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreDisappointing start as they were full and I’d made a booking. They allow same day bookings but then claim they don’t get informed about same day bookings so don’t reserve a table. I’m guessing normally they can cope with this but there was an event on at the arena so the area was packed. Why not put something on your web site to avoid this?
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreWe enjoyed our first visit yesterday. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were amazing and very reasonably priced. The dishes recommended by the team were great. We will definitely be going back to try some more of the menu. Overall a fantastic first experience and excellent value food.
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreWaited around an hour for our food and had to leave due to other commitments. Would had loved to try the food.
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreBeen dining here for over 20 years, food always amazing and great service. Will keep coming back as often as we can. Highly recommended
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreGenuinely friendly and helpful service with good quality delicious food which doesn't break the bank in a lovely venue.
The Goodluck Club – Leeds City CentreVery nice food and a good price. Extensive menue. Not a large place but was busy for eat in and very busy with takeaways which was a nuisance as it distracted the waitress and meant the outside door was always held open on a cold night. Fairly authentic Japanese food. Unfortunately the service was poor with waitresses obviously not trained. Given the menue on arrival but then ignored......nobody took a drinks order. Eventually caught one to take the drink order who wanted to take the food order at that time. Eventually got sorted.....food arrived promptly and was excellent and well cooked. During the meal service was poor with waitresses going back and forth but ignoring us. Empty bottles not cleared from the table. Nobody came to ask if we wanted another drink or anything else. Walked past our table several times looking the other way. Obviously not trained in service .
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreI enjoyed my first visit. The food was good and reasonably priced. The side dishes I chose were amazing. I was left a little disappointed with my main course, the spicy chicken men which I didn’t enjoy at all. I would definitely like to go back and try some more of the menu. Overall good experience and good value food.
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreStill as good as ever. Excellent food, great service and very reasonably priced.
