On a visit to Leeds for the weekend we were recommended to try Hansa's. What can I say-we were not disappointed!!! The food choice was amazing and the taste was just Mmmmmmm - lovely!! It was an experience not to be missed. If I go to Leeds again then I will deffo go back. Hansa and her Husband are lovely people and make you feel very welcome. Well done and well done to the two lovely ladies who were waitressing also.

Little Tokyo is a bit of an institution in Leeds - tucked away behind House of Fraser, and not particularly attractive from the outside, however step inside and you will be amazed - the food is excellent - ranging from sushi to Bento boxes (which are particularly good fun) - the staff are always great and if you go on a Saturday night lay on entertainment as well. We go regularly and have taken work colleagues, in laws and friends and everyone has always raved about it afterwards.highly recommend !

I've brought a few friends over the year I have known Hansa's and every time it gets a great review no matter who I bring (even those who mention the lack of meat). The food is mouthwateringly superb and the service is always homely and friendly. I recommend Hansa's to everyone.

I came to Leeds with a group of my girlfriends for a weekend packed full of shopping, drinking and eating so after visiting countless shops and trying on what seemed like a million items of clothing, we headed over to San Carlo for a bite to eat. It was lovely from the minute we walked in. The waiter we had was very friendly and seated us after five minutes, which was fine as we hadn’t booked in advance. He took us to a lovely corner where we could catch up and gossip. After we had ordered our mains, which took quite some time as there were so many choices, one of our friends revealed that she had something to tell us. The table quietened as we were waited in anticipation with what she would say. She then broke the silence telling us she was expecting! Amazing news! Of course we ordered celebratory drinks straight away (except the mother to be obviously) and drank up! After hearing the shrieks and cries, the waiter guessed something had happened and after we had told him, brought a complimentary bottle of champagne over to us. It just got better and better! By the time our mains arrived, we were all fairly tipsy but that didn’t change the fact that it tasted wonderful! It was presented superbly, like a work of art! We left San Carlo feeling full, tipsy and ecstatic with our friend’s news, quite a few feelings to have at one time! Thank you so much to all at San Carlo, we will be back before the baby comes!

The restaurant is really nice, small and cosy, with a very friendly staff. And when it comes to food...it's just great, probably the best Italian food you will find in Leeds! The pizzas are just like the ones that you can find in Italy and the desserts are also really really good. Above all that, I must say that the prices are fair and it's a good value and great quality.

Went in a party of five and was very impressed. Steaks were cooked perfectly, dauphinoise potatoes were delicious and tempura prawns were light and tasty. Will definitely be back.

I had suggested this place to friends as we had never eaten French food in the UK before; very glad I did as it was spectacular. Delicious food - I had the poached egg in red wine followed by duck confit - and a wonderful relaxed ambiance contributed to an excellent dining experience. Will certainly be back.

A great little place. Superb service, plenty of meat and vegetable options, and everything was perfectly cooked (although the broccoli was stone cold). Will be back.

Very good food and good waiter service the BIG downside was that our table was booked for 8.00pm but did not get seated till 9.30pm and did not eat until 10.00pm.

The Old Steps just gets better and better. The lunchtime food must be the most reasonably priced and imaginatively presented in Leeds, thanks to French chef Raphie. The menu changes regularly and the drinks are also very good, they serve Leeds Brewery ale among other things. Very highly recommended.

Just popped in to use their toilet, to tell the truth! Then had a peek at the menu over a drink. Decided I wasn't too hungry so ordered a ham sandwich, thinking that is what I would get. Well, when it arrived it was superb, and accompanied by a lovely salad! All very fresh and tasty and beautifully presented. Absolutely delicious! Returned a couple of weeks later, ordered the same, hoping it would be as good as previously. It was! A very large young man appeared from the kitchen and laid it before my companion and I with a cheerful flourish, wishing us Bon Appetit in a Scottish accent..... Next time I am going to try something from their main menu, having heard some great reports.

Came to Leeds for the day shopping with my mam and came across this place so decided to give it a go there was so much to choose from open the menu all home made too decided on the sampler 2 share and cheese board with a bottle of house white the food was absolutely fantastic and presentation great and the atmosphere in the place was lovely away from all the hustle and bustle of the city it was really cosy ended up staying for 2 hours wanted to try all the menu just wish this place was in middlesbrough would be here every week.and the staff were also very friendly.

Visited here recently for my 30th birthday as a group of 5... had read the rave reviews about the food and also thought ideal location (close to station) Although our table was booked in advance we had to wait over 45 minutes to be seated so it was 9.45 before we made it to our table... we then found out they were dedicating their time to the whole cast of Emmerdale who were also dining there so we were actually on the verge of leaving because of the appalling waiting time and were kept waiting in the bar area...food eventually arrived at about 10.15 and I have to say we were so genuinely disheartened by the experience, it was a good job the food was worth the wait. Presentation was exquisite, original and food was tasty, although not the best pan Asian cuisine I have ever tasted. Overall, it was a good dining experience, due to the quality of the food, but service was very slow (probably due to circumstance of pandering to emmerdale cast, but nevertheless we were paying customers, and its not cheap!) which let it down for all of us on such a momentous occasion.

if you want to wine and dine in a great atmosphere, enjoy great food then this is the place to go. I've been 3 times and each time has been fantastic. My friends husband wasn't looking forward to our night out at all...at the end of the night he said it was one of the best places he had ever been to, he thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the restaurant.

Have just spent the weekend in Leeds and visited the Conservatory every day for lunch and for a quick drink in the evening. The staff, service and food were fantastic, make sure you visit this wonderful eatery when visiting Leeds, its a definite must.

Been to this restaurant twice now, and have not been disappointed. The food is to die for, very well presented, extremely well cooked and tastes divine. This is quite possibly the best steak i have ever had. Can be a bit expensive if you have three courses and wine - we had two courses, a bottled beer each, bottle of water, and then coffees. which was £105 for two - but well worth it !!!.
