I really like this place. Clean, bright and busy. Food is very good, quality ingredients prepared well. Uncomplicated and pleasantly informal. I particularly like the frequently changing specials and how they get crossed off as they are eaten throughout the evening. Good wine list too, efficient service. Area can get quite rowdy in evenings due to student pubs in vicinity. Also a good place to go for drinks during the day. Does not disappoint.

This a really good brasserie with very good food and stylish service. My Salmon was a brave dish indeed, but executed perfectly, with authentic tasting home made naan bread! My partners Chicken was equally stunning. 2 decent puds and a great bottle of Merlot rounded off a lovely evening.....but wheres the coffee machine? I was denied my fix of espresso! Somebody buy them one!!

The early bird special is highly recommended. £21 for 3 quality courses and 1/2 bottle wine is unmatched in Leeds.

Fantastic... we love it here!! To eat in or take out!! Great portion sizes and great tasting... lovely staff!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!!

We all love eating out at Jino's (and fit in the occasional take away too). The food is excellent; fresh vegetables, beautifully prepared. Lovely flavours, fresh dishes and good Thai beers. The food feels healthy and wholesome - no sticky monosodium glutamate dishes with too much salt and mushed up veg here. The staff made our 2 boys feel very welcome. A great place for a family meal out or a cosy night out for 2 (if you can get a baby sitter). Try the mixed starters, Thai Green Curry (divine) and to finish the Sticky Rice with Mango, sesame seeds and coconut milk - absolutely gorgeous.

Fantastic local restaurant with great food even as a first time visitor you are made very welcome. Interesting line in abuse from the Chef/Proprietor which all adds to the fun of the place. Ambience is probably best described as homely but it hits the spot with a very extensive menu.

I would say best restaurant in and around Hull. Always very good service and excellent Italian food. The staff always have looked after us and it always has a very good buzz about it. Love it!

Excellent Italian restaurant which is very welcoming. Great food and excellent service on every frequent visit. Seems to be very popular for parties but that does not distract if you are having a meal a deux. Prices range from the very reasonable pizzas up to the pricier specials board. But good value whichever way.

Vegetarian only restaurant which serves a different buffet each day. It's a one sitting go of help yourself and good fun if you want to eat copious quantities of something different on a budget. Bring your own wine or very moderately priced house wine. Recommended.

Lovely upstairs restaurant, prices around £6 for starter, £12 for main course. Food delicious - lovely menu, not too pretentious, everything very tasty. Have made several return trips!

We had a lovely meal with excellent service. The food is fresh, and I particularly enjoyed grilled sardines as a starter. Mrs P enjoyed the meze: quality of the meze was good, but might have benefited from a wider selection, our only quibble. I enjoyed casserole of lamb with a side order of fresh vegetables. Service was excellent throughout. The owners go to real trouble to make this a welcoming and enjoyable place, and we recommend it as an informal but charming place to drop in and enjoy. We have eaten in a lot of places from New York's Nobu to the Maldives, but this is one of our favourites; simply welcoming and with good food. We are fortunate that it is on our doorstep!

Always a good meal here, and great choice for vegetarians. The meals aren't as traditional as you would get at many Indian restaurants, and I would say they are on the mild side. A great place to take a mate who isn't a curry fan... this will win them over!

Great experience! You choose your ingredients (lots of fresh veggies, tofu, chicken, beef, crocodile, ostrich etc. etc.!) and then take it to the chefs who stir fry it in your choice of oil, sauce & garnish. Endless combinations and so fresh! Meanwhile fresh fluffy rice is put on the table to accompany your stir fry. Set price for as many visits to the chefs as you like... I think it's about £15 if I remember rightly, but it is cheaper off peak times. Great for kids as they can get involved in choosing their food!

Cheerful, friendly place, I like the booths to sit in, nice and private. Food good, not stunning, but certainly tasty. Friendly staff make you feel very welcome.

Excellent Thai food, lovely menu, welcoming staff. Well worth a visit.
