Unbeatable food. The afternoon tea is superb. Make sure you are given a table on the ground floor, not the basement.

Bettys Cafe Tearooms – HarrogateI live in Garforth, so this is probably my nearest restaurant. Thankfully its a very good one. Decor is a very clean, modern take on the Indian theme. Consistently good food and reasonably priced. Very busy on Friday/Saturday nights, but other than that no complaints.
Aagrah Restaurant – GarforthSunday Carvery - Excellent choice and fresh vegetables, home made sweets and good wine a very enjoyable experience which we will be repeating
Station Hotel – HullFabulous rural location on the edge of the moors. Excellent parking. Atmospheric "country pub" with open fires and a traditional cosy seating areas. Food home cooked and excellent with large portions. Friendly service. Perfect as a lunchtime venue(perhaps advisable to book ahead on Sunday)or an evening excursion. Coffee served for walkers( good starting point for many beautiful walks)
Delvers Inn, The – HalifaxOne trip to Le Besi will get you hooked, whether you fancy lunch, dinner or just coffee & dessert you will be amazed!! Not only is the food out of this world & very well priced the staff will do their up most to accommodate you. The owner is a friendly man as are all the staff he employs. The Christmas menu looks delicious & we are really looking forward to our office Christmas lunch there, but book early to avoid disappointment!! M'shell :)
La Besi Restaurant – Leeds City CentreWe celebrated my husband's birthday here, last weekend, it was such a special evening. Kenny, Jane and their team did a fantastic job. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and the service superb. The food could not be faulted, generous portions, all cooked to perfection and reasonably priced for the quality. What ever the occasion, if you are in York, I'd recommend you eat here, you will not be disappointed!
Ate O Clock – Yorki thought the shoulder of mutton was by far one of the places been to. the food was brilliant and the the service was exceptional i will definitely be going back
Shoulder of Mutton Inn – Hebden BridgeI have eaten at many Indian Restaurants and the food and service here are second to none. The staff are attentive without being pushy. Highly recommended.
Shabana Restaurant – WakefieldWent to the carvery on Sunday. £4.95 for a home cooked Sunday lunch. Great value and great food.
Salutation – DoncasterTheir Donner Kebab is the BEST eva Kebab i tasted. This place is gud when you need a quick meal.
Zam Zam – Leeds City CentreThis by far the best restaurant in Leeds! I can't believe I have lived in Churwell 7 months and only just found this treasure. I found the whole experience so enjoyable when I visited last Monday, that I am going again tonight!
Saffron Desi – MorleyI was taken here as a birthday treat as we had heard so many good things about it. Unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant experience. Everything seemed to be rushed. We had not finished our starter before the main course was brought to our table, and no sooner had we finished eating that then the bill was brought, without us having to ask. We had started and finished our meal within about 40 minutes. No time to relax and chat. Won't be going there again.
Saffron Desi – MorleyWonderful to find a top class restaurant that blends in with the history of York. 1st class food, 1st class service set in 1st class surroundings. Nice to see a chef that actually likes to meet the diners and not a sound of microwaves pinging in the background. If you are going to York a visit to Ate Oclock is a must.
Ate O Clock – YorkWe were visiting Richmond and we stayed here following a visit to the Tourist information office. What a find this restaurant (and small hotel) is! It is the best meal we have ever eaten - certainly in the north of England anyway. The proprietor, David Todd, is key to its success with his knowledge and fantastic approach to service and quality. Go there whenever in Richmond, or forever regret it.
Frenchgate Restaurant and Hotel – RichmondVery nice restaurant, the outside of the restaurant is a nice start as it looks lovely and the posh decor carries on inside the restaurant too.
Medici Restaurant – HullA very nice restaurant that was passed on to me by word of mouth. The couple that have it now have taken a lot of care with their interior and with the food. The restaurant is cosy, if you are dining for two, and child friendly if you are taking children. There is a relaxed ambiance about the place but at the same time they are efficient.
Dunkirk Inn – HuddersfieldMake no mistake about this, La Besi is a hidden jewel in the Leeds restaurant scene. I work very close to the restaurant and commute every week to Leeds. This is now the only restaurant that I would eat at regularly. The care taken over each serving is magnificent and the owner/manager is a fantastic chap. Extremely friendly and accommodating to one and all. If you're in Leeds, forget the flashy restaurants in the city centre and take the time to find this restaurant. You won't regret it.
La Besi Restaurant – Leeds City CentreThe pub at Starbottom is beautifully located, the menu good and the food well presented and delicious. However, our whole experience was ruined by disdain towards tourists, and un-spirited service that was grudgingly given, and in our case verged on rudeness. It is a real pity that this family run, cose y pub does not offer the warm welcome and cheerful service that could make it into a highlight.
