This was a very entertaining evening. A typical pub grub atmosphere. You have to try the giant gammon with three eggs it is fantastic and very cheap. Would definitely recommend and will be going to dine there again.

Pheasant Inn, The – BatleyI called at this centre at the last minute, in the area and looking for food. The car park was very large, hence plenty of room. The food was carvery, that was very good indeed, the staff very polite and helpful and we will certainly call back again, in fact we are hoping to go to a Motown night, just before Christmas. The biggest plus for me was non-smoking in the restaurant.
Dorothy Hyman Leisure Centre – BarnsleyWent to the new Shimla restaurant at Shipley, WOW its stunning everything perfect from the eating area to the toilets. Never been to a nicer looking restaurant ever!!!!! The food just as good as the Keighley branch. Well done guys see you again soon it was amazing.
Shimla Spice Restaurant – KeighleyWhat a lovely pub! a great stop off for runners, bikers, walkers, dogs, cats, kids and everyone else.
Robin Hood Inn, The – Hebden BridgeHad heard about this place, recommended by friends but we were not impressed, food was average, service the only bright spot, sorry but we prefer the local Thai sorry we tried but not so great anyway thanks Thomas Wong.
Rice Restaurant – RoundhayThe food was, generally very well cooked and presented. However, it was pricey. I had a lamb hock, which came at over £13. Then there was an extra £2.10 for potatoes and also for each vegetable portion. Consequently, the meal with potatoes and two vegetables would cost about £20 - not, in my opinion, good value for money. The drinks also were expensive, with Tetleys Bitter and lager at £3.50 per pint. Even bottled Guinness was charged at £3.50 per bottle.
Piccolino – WetherbySan remo has been in Doncaster for a number of years. Nino the owner is very passionate and successful in what he does best "entertaining". Pleasant atmosphere, good fresh food, nothing too much trouble and always on hand. Can recommend the Funghi fritti as a starter or even the fresh home cooked soup. All the dishes are superb and unique in there own way and offer something different for all tastes. Try and experience the flavour of Italy.
San Remo – DoncasterI reserved two tables for between 12-20 people, the landlady was very helpful. As we waited for our meal we all commented on how good the place is. Very cosy and welcoming, and the pint I drank was the best I have tasted in a while. The meal we all had was of a good mixture, which was no problem for the landlady and her team. Well done "The Abbey"
Abbey – SheffieldVery nice, best to go through the week.
Mezzaluna Ristorante – BarnsleyViva Cuba is the gem of Leeds. Every aspect of it is superb. Food, atmosphere, staff and the actual restaurant itself. I really can't understand why anyone wouldn't like this place. Yes, it may get busy sometimes, but that just adds to the night. Oh and best king prawns in the world. :)
Viva Cuba – Leeds City CentreThis place is definitely one of the best, most inexpensive restaurants I have ever been to.
Shuhag Indian Restaurant – PontefractFantastic food been going to this chain of restaurant for 20 years, the Denby Dale is very friendly. Look after you very well. I recommend it to anyone, we?e eaten everywhere in the country and I can honestly say Aagrah restaurants are the best in Yorkshire.
Aagrah Restaurant – HuddersfieldVery good meal, excellent service. Ambient music not too loud.
Prachee Indian Restaurant – GuiseleyI went on Thursday 23/11 and was very pleased with the food and the service. We had duck Gyoza and Tori Kara age (fried chicken pieces) and Yaki Udon for main. The food was very tasty and we didn? have to wait long. Would definitely recommend it.
Wagamama – Leeds City CentreVenn is a fantastic place to eat and we had a great night out. The food is second to none and the service was friendly and warm. Definitely worth a visit. A hidden gem!
Walter’s – HullMaxis is tasty has its own distinct taste. The kung po chicken is dreamy and the selection is good but i feel limited. Staff are hard working and courteous. A great experience
Maxis – Leeds City CentreThe Woodman Inn is located in a scenic location approx 5 miles from Holmfirth. It is an attractive building which serves a decent pint of Ale. Service is efficient as opposed to friendly. We have been visiting this Inn for the past 5 years but have rarely seen the bar person - mainly young local lads and lassies, possibly students or trainees. During the week the Inn seems full of sales reps and commercial travellers who prefer the Inns ambiance over the faceless Comfort Inns and Trusthouse Fortes. The bar meals downstairs are relatively tasty and fairly priced - good standard Inn fare in a pleasant setting. For a more special or romantic occasion the 3 Acres is the local favourite - but at twice the price. I would happily recommend the Woodman Inn for a quiet drink or a simple wholesome bar meal.
Woodman Inn – HuddersfieldThai cafe beats all the more expensive Thai restaurants in the city centre by a long shot, and is the closest thing to authentic Thai food that I've come across in the UK. Definitely my favourite place to eat in Leeds.
