We returned to the Dove on Saturday 20th September to celebrate our 60th Wedding Anniversary, and we were not disappointed. There were 16 guests in our party and they all agreed everything was perfect. Food was delicious and no one was left waiting to be served. There were 3 Coeliacs and one vegetarian in our group and we were all catered for. The service was excellent and all the staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly visit again. Thanks to Alex and all the staff. Maureen Stafford Northampton

Let me just say- what a lovely meal! The food was absolutely amazing, really lovely quality and so tasty. Portion sizes were perfect and the service was excellent. The girl that served us was fantastic; unfortunately didn’t get her name. They offered a member of our party a free pudding as it was almost his birthday. Fantastic day overall.

My daughter and I came for Sunday lunch, as always the service and food was superb.

What a pleasant surprise x. Googled Sunday lunch in the area as was visiting The General Hospital, it will not take a visit to the hospital to revisit !!! Lovely clean surroundings and The Meat was the best we have had in a long while and quite often go for Sunday lunch . We paired our Beef which a Rioja this was also of good quality. Need to say we will be returning

Love, love, love this restaurant. Sammy has a real passion for the food he serves and always ensures it's top quality and presentable. The prices are very reasonable. The service is top quality. I look forward to every visit.

Went for lunch with a friend. The food was great and the service was excellent. Love the fact the breakfast menu was also still available. The waitress was on her own but she was amazing. The food is much better than the intial impression the building gives you. I would certainly recommend and return

We were actually really late for our table due to our toddler, but the staff were very understanding and accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was even better. Really good value for money!

My mother and I went for Sunday lunch. I cannot praise highly enough the staff who were attentive and friendly. This is one of the best Sunday lunch I have had and the Yorkshire pudding was to die for. If you want beautifully cooked food and excellent service, then look no further.

I went for Sunday lunch on 10/08/25. The food itself was amazing; I went for the large leg of pork meal and the portions were generous, including the additional pigs in blankets I ordered with it. The food was hot and perfectly cooked. The staff serving were attentive, polite and helpful. The whole experience was brilliant and id definitely go again and recommend it to others.

Another beautiful meal at Cheiko's. Everything cooked and presented to perfection and great flavours too. Cheikos is definitely my favourite restaurant!

Great service as always, we had a large group gathering with children. The team were very accommodating, even allowed last minute amendments which we really appreciated. We as a family gather at the Dove quite regularly and we always leave having had a great experience. The last visit was no exception. Thank you again
