Went last night to Ellenders for a Christmas meal with a group of 10 The food was exceptional all 3 courses was of high quality Staff were friendly all in all a great night was had by all

Lovely venue with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I took 3 separate parties of over 12 people for a christmas lunch and everyone included myself, found the service friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Although some desserts came out wrong , they soon corrected it with a sincere apology. I am still highly recommending.

We came as a group to the Christmas meal. The food was great everyone enjoyed the food. The pocetta could have been a bit better and less spicy. The service wasn't too bad but did forget one desert. Then sorted. Overall good evening.

Great location for groups - all staff were pleasant and welcoming, the food itself was good and prices are reasonable.

Food was really delicious . Good choice . Good value . Service was great . Can have coffee and cake for £5.00 if don’t fancy a dessert . Recommend

Had lunch with my husband was a very nice lunch the fish and chips was amazing, the staff were great shame some of the beers had run out but did not affect us at all plenty to coose from,will be returning very soon

I went to Ellenders with 4friends on the 4th nov my three friends haven’t visited before they were very impressed with the food & service the waitress was lovely .

Wonderful meal with some of the family. Everyone enjoyed their different choices. Husband loved his steak.

We went on a Thurs evening. The service was excellent, the food not only looked good, it was well cooked and delicious. The prices were very reasonable. Would recommend.

Had the Spanish Pork Loin and it was delicious. Definitely have this again. Good portion size. Will be back for pie night.

Food was as always very good, but service was very slow. Can't blame the waitresses who are very good. I presume the delays are down to the kitchen. Every time we go we enjoy the food but despair at the long waits.

We dined at Ellenders for game night. The menu was superb: pigeon breast, duck consommé, pheasant, and an extraordinary venison wellington. Each dish that Tom, the chef, produced was accompanied by a sauce that perfectly suited the meat. The two desserts were perfect for my good lady, but I was beaten and only picked at the second dessert. Sorry it was very good but no more room! James, the bartender extraordinaire, served a range of cocktails delivered by the staff who presented each course with a smile. We immediately booked the pie night and will be bringing friends.

Great service and lovely food. My friend was over from New Zealand and said the burger was the best he'd had in a long time! Definitely recommend!
