This is such a special place. The food is fabulous, the staff are so warm and friendly, and it's jolly convenient for the theatre. We always come here before a show and always will.

Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreGreat as usual, This place never fails to impress. We have ate here and the old York Street site on many occasions, the food, the staff and the atmosphere are always spot on and the food always delicious
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreBooked a table for my birthday. Pizzas were amazing . So tasty with super thin bases. Hummus delicious. Good selection of beer and wine. Drinks a tad pricey but well worth it. Conveniently, a two minute walk from Lime Street Station. Taking all my friends there, one by one, and working my way through the menu.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreIt was good to return to What's Cooking and it was just as good as our last visit - great food, great atmosphere, friendly, smily service and with excellent views of Liverpool. Such a good evening - thank you!
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreLovely good and atmosphere . Friendly staff and excellent service
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreAttentive staff, huge choice on the menu, good atmosphere and reasonable in price. Food was hot and very good.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreLovely welcoming by the staff, arrived around 20 minutes early as we were going to a concert & didn’t want to be late. We were asked to grab a beer at the bar whilst our table was not available just yet but 3 minutes later we were seated, 15 minutes before we had booked. The meal was lovely and well presented, the chocolate fudge cake was divine. All finished off with a warming liquor coffee. £50 per head - I don’t find excessive as we had drinks, wine two courses & liquor coffee. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a pleasant evening
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreLovely food very pleasant staff Just don’t add the service charge
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreFabulous meal Staff very friendly and a lovely atmosphere
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City Centrewent here on Tuesday early evening and had the “2 courses for £12.50” option. The food was excellent and the service was first class.(it was nearly empty though). The restaurant is very nicely laid out, and spotlessly clean. My only criticism is that it would have been nice if they offered a beer that wasn’t lager for a little variety. I will definitely be returning.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWhat a brilliant night I had it was a party in there for my birthday the was 12 of us and we all had the to course meal for 35 pound the was amazing I can’t wait to go back thank very much

Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreExcellent for what we paid. Lovely service and lovely food.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWe went on the 14th January and it was the mezze only, £35 a head my guests were so disappointed with the food because there just wasn’t enough to feed everyone out of 15 of us 7 went for something to eat later in the evening. .
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWe booked for 8 people for a birthday evening out, but 2 extra decided to tag along. The staff accommodated us, despite being busy, and provided an excellent service throughout our stay. Superb food, unbelievable portions left us looking like pythons that had eaten goats! Did I mention the staff? They were superb too! I would highly recomnend a visit to Whats Cooking, it's not our first and it won't be our last.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreAte here yesterday before going to the Empire. Had scouse which was absolutely lovely. Great atmosphere as well. Would definitely recommend.
