Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreGreat selection of food and drinks, large portion sizes and all very tasty. Great value for money. Really convenient to get to from Lime Street and a great meeting point. Was very empty Saturday lunchtime which made it a great place to have a chat with friends.
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreService and food were both impeccable. Friendly staff and tasty food. My husband said the blueberry pancakes were the best pancakes he’s ever had! Good atmosphere, great look and some pretty good tunes too!
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreWhat can you say about this place? Only been here a couple of times now, once for Breakfast & once for the Roast. Can’t fault it in any way, excellent food, brilliant staff, nice little atmosphere with some really good music & excellent service. The Breakfast was really good & a bit to much for me whereas the Roast was absolutely spot on. Perfect size & amazing flavour. Will definitely be back….

Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreHad a lovely evening: great food, generous portions and friendly service!
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWe often call in for a meal prior to a theatre visit. Despite being exceedingly busy (we were advised a point of ordering food there would be a wait) the staff were as always chatty, friendly and helpful. The pub was noisy (not in a bad way!)and it was a great pre theatre atmosphere. Most of the tables around us were going to the same show. The food as ever was excellent. The scouse is the best in Liverpool and the pizzas are always freshly made with a great assortment of toppings on offer. 10/10

Dough Bar – Liverpool City Centregreat food and atmosphere
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreVisiting Liverpool-on a long weekend from Coventry & came across Clockworks purely by chance. Great attentive & friendly staff; great music & as for the food my wife & l both had the haddock & chips & we have never had fish & chips like it. It was simply the best, the chips were to die for. When we next visit Liverpool we shall certainly make this place our first port of call. Fantastic
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreVery disappointed actually, had Meze , it was brought out very quickly , very average, presentation disappointing, it was like fast food , not great , very loud dining experience for two . Not be back
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWe visited Ma Egertons for a meal and drinks before going to The Empire Theatre. Good was excellent, 2 nachos, a pizza and some olives between 3 was more than enough food. The pizza is home made and fresh. The only down side to the meal was my fault! I forgot to ask for no guacamole on one of the nachos and the came covered, so if you like guacamole you're in luck! I did manage to eat the bottom layer and they were very tasty. All in all the meals and 3 drinks were very enjoyable. The guy behind the bar was very friendly, and seemed like he liked a good laugh ( he 'barred me out' for not finishing my dinner). We'll definitely be back soon.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreBooked a table this weekend as Dough was a perfect meeting point for everybody getting into Lime Street for the start of our friend's hen party. The bar staff were really accommodating and we had plenty of space to use to set out a gift bag/hen activity table too. Service was excellent, couldn't recommend enough, thank you! :)
