First time at Goya and we were not disappointed, we visited on Sunday evening, they offer a tapas menu on Sundays at £7 per plate but you can order from the main menu too. Food was fantastic and plenty of options for vegetarian or vegan. Nice atmosphere and the young lady serving us was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be returning.

Goya Bistro – St. HelensAbsolutely amazing food was so flavoursome atmosphere was brilliant watching the food being cooked fresh - staff were so friendly nothing was too much trouble - I genuinely cannot say how much this food is brilliant - the flavours the portion sizes the value for money would highly recommend - plus the manager was so friendly an checks on all his customers making sure everything ok - brilliant night fabulous experience absolute hidden gem !

The chalupas and taquitos dorados were delicious, and the birria tacos with melted cheese and the enchiladas were even better. We will definitely come back every time we are in the area. The only issue I had was that I understand they were closing and whilst there where other tables there we felt rushed to finish our food and the bill was brought over when we hadn't even finished. The Wargrave Hacienda – St. HelensExcellent food & very good service however we didn't order Thai prawn crackers but they were brought to our table anyway so we assumed they were on the house as other tables were given them also but we ended up being charged for them - a very sly way of making more money which we strongly disapprove of & the waitresses have obviously been given a directive to do. It left us feeling deflated after such a lovely meal & is a practice that really needs to be stopped as ultimately it will backfire & potential returning customers lost.

When we dine out we always enjoy wine with our meal, I think the proprietor should have advised us of this problem before we arrived. It was was also quite cold and had to keep our coats on while we ate our meal.
