Our group of three really enjoyed our evening at Christakis. The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a great ambience in the restaurant. My friends said the red wine was very good. I don't drink alcohol and I thought that the choice of 0% alcohol drinks was limited. It would be great to see a 0% gin on offer.

We were told we would have to wait for a table as other people were being slow. We waited another 30mins before we decided to leave. Quite disappointing as we were looking forward to the meal. We ended up at another restaurant who managed to sit us straight away.

Mixed souvlaki, lamb chops, Greek salad, gorgeous sides!Presented beautifully. We were looked after by Chris himself! All the staff were so friendly and polite. Looking forward to returning soon.

The staff were lovely, very attentive and went out of their way to ensure everyone had a lovely time. They were also very happy to chat through the menu and answer any questions. Now to the food, my husband and I shared the £25pp mezze and my parents had the lamb kleftiko, scordades and sides of oregano chips and baby potatoes. It was all outstanding, we all ended up eating from each others plates so we could try it! If you have room for pudding the orange cake and baklava were big hits and my dad was very impressed with the Christakis beer! We will 100% be back with more family and friends

Christakis Greek Restaurant – BebingtonWe visited the evening of Saturday 30 May and the restaurant was extremely busy. Ordered the meze deal, which is a lot of food for £25 pp! The food came out very quickly, almost too quickly for the first few plates, but was excellent. Only slight disappointment was the calamari, which we found a little chewy. However, all-in-all the food was good. Another minor negative was the lack of attention while we were eating. No one stopped at our table to see if everything was okay with our food which, thankfully, it was. Also, once we had finished our meal and the table was cleared, no one came back to ask if we’d like dessert, coffee, more drinks etc. Please take this as positive feedback as you’re missing a trick – we may well have been persuaded! I’d put these minor points down to ‘teething’ problems with the restaurant only being open a couple of weeks and some staff appeared new to their roles. The waitress that took our payment was very charming and deserves praise – sadly, didn’t get her name but she is a credit to the Christakis name. On the whole, we enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning in the future.
