Initially concerned how busy the place was (Saturday night on a bank holiday weekend) and I had to ask if it was table service or whether I ordered at the bar because it took a while before we saw a server; however, after that they did a good job of setting expectations on how long it might be before we got our food, and in the end we did not wait too long. Food was pretty good (steak pie x 2, lentil/spinach curry, lentil/spinach burger) and while maybe not the cheapest it is what we have come to expect to pay when eating out in Llangollen. All in all, given how busy the place was, I would say they did a good job.

Brought the family for lunch and they all thought it was terrific. Had a lovely time and were very well looked after. Six clear plates! Thank you as ever to everyone.

It was ok had hunters chicken me a hubby but was basic pub grub an for £17 expected better

Excellent Sunday dinner. It was busy but the small staff were very good. The food was excellent value.

We had a lovely meal at The Bridge End. Service was smashing, friendly and efficient.

Booked a 5:30 table for 4 before going to a show in the Eistedfordd. Great table service & very pleasantly surprised both with the food choices and the quality of the food when it arrived. No delays in taking either the drinks order or the food orders and wasn't any delay in food arriving. Not been in here in ages so will definitely give this more consideration when we are in Llangollen again

Very good experience. Good quality food for a reasonable price considering it is Llangollen. Service was excellent even though there only seemed to be one person tending the bar and taking the food order/serving the food. Glad they weren't too busy!

Very accommodating and the service was amazing, couldn’t have asked for more. The food was delicious. Definitely worth visiting again.

We pre booked and pre ordered our food as we were a party of 11. We were on a tight time schedule between rehearsals for an Eisteddfod event. So it was disappointing we had to wait over half an hour for food at lunchtime. It made it a stressful meal which shoukf not have been the case.

Sunday lunch the best

Ate here on Saturday night. It was pretty busy due to the concert. Food was ok but my curry came with no flatbread (which was included according to the menu). When I enquired where is was I was told they had run out (this should have been called out when I ordered surely…….where they even going to mention this at all. ) anyway I was advised that they could do me ciabatta instead, when I came it was just a cold ciabatta, not warmed / toasted, no butter ! In addition, we then ordered a 2nd round of drinks which we never received. When we had finished our food the server came over to ask if we had received our drinks (order was taken over half an hour earlier) and when we said no he didn’t even apologise, just walked away. The food we did get was nice, just a shame about the service.

We booked for 10 people. The communication was excellent and on arrival our table was ready. Great service and lovely food Would recommend

Booked online to eat here before a concert & it was pretty busy. They were running the normal Main Menu alongside the Sunday Lunch Menu. Enjoyed our meals (scampi & chicken burger - proper chicken breast with bacon). Service was great. Nice ambience. 2nd visit & will definitely return. For info, noticed that there are lots of Gluten Free options on the main menu.

Visited this place yesterday for a Sunday roast … absolutely hit the spot! Delicious and staff were lovely and friendly too :) will return when back in the area
