Four of us for lunch. Fish & chips enjoyed by three of us but one lacked mushy peas which should have been included. Hunters chicken was very disappointing as chicken was dry, overcooked & whole meal very small. Service was unattentive & sleepy.

Superb pub, 28 meals, all cooked perfectly and arrived on time for my sons pre wedding meal. Accommodation fabulous. Rooms beautiful! Wont hesitate to return . Thank you

I had reserved a table for Sunday lunch for 4 people on the 5th October 2025. We placed our meal and drinks orders. In the meantime two other couples were seated after us, after quite a long wait we realised that both of the other tables were served their food before us. When we enquired about this they're reasoning and explanation for this was because the others seated were just tables of two?? That reason given did not answer our question? When the food came it wasn't as warm as expected. The gravy had been pre poured. Most restaurants serve gravy boats so that you can put as little or as much gravy as you want over your dinner. Unfortunately I had very little gravy covering my veg, so I asked for more. When it came to paying the bill they had charged an extra £2 for requesting more gravy. We also had to replace two forks that were dirty prior to our food being served. The food itself when it arrived was well cooked and mostly tasty, it was a shame that it was not served as warm as it should have been. Our waiters were all very pleasant. One more thing to add, if you expect a view of the river as advertised then just a heads up, there is no view. When I enquired about upstairs seating, they said that there was no upstairs seating for Sunday lunch.

Hello, stayed overnight had 2 of the 3 courses off the Sunday lunch menu, couldn't fit the 3rd in but the first 2 were lovely thanks. I was a bit sceptical on curried parsnip soup but it was very nice, and had beef with vegetables, the vegetables being the highlight. The beef was nice but I prefer a bit more tender. The breakfast was very nice aswell , again the bacon a little overcooked for my liking but it was nice for a change.

Booked for Sunday dinner. Service from Jason and team was as excellent and welcoming as always. Food was usual high standard. Just a shame to gave missed out on the Sunday roast my daughter was so looking forward too as all sold out by the time of our booking. Admittedly we did arrive early evening and it had clearly been a busy day. Next time we'll book an earlier slot.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch, food was great, very impressed. We both had a pudding as well plus a cheeky end of meal liqueur as it was so nice. Very friendly and the dogs were made welcome with a treat.

Excellent food and service

We visited Saturday and sunday whilst we were staying near by. Staff were more than helpful had a lovely hunters chicken and even got talked into having desert on Saturday, was not disappointmented. Had a roast on Sunday which was one of the best dinners I've had in a while, only slight negative part was my yorkshire pudding was flat, but I did seen funny side in it and was still very tasty, just ment I had extra room for the extra veggies I wanted lol. On both occasions we were made to feel so welcome with our dogs by staff and other customers. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again. Thank you

I was organising a hen do Sunday lunch for 24 ladies (after a white water rafting adventure!) Jason and his team could not have been more helpful! I know it's a big group to cater for, but pre order menus were sent so that we could submit in advance, and communication was absolutely on point! Someone always responded quickly, and even when one lady dropped out the day before, it was no trouble, cannot fault them!! As for the food, absolutely top draw roasts!! Everyone had nothing but good things to say about the quality and value of their food, it all went like clockwork (and made me look very organised in the process!) Thank you all at The Bridge End Hotel, especially Jason, for your kind and excellent service, would definitely recommend!!

Had a party of 6 for a Sunday tea time meal. Great service, food was delicious and good value. Glad we tried the pub since it was all renovated...best in town.

Initially concerned how busy the place was (Saturday night on a bank holiday weekend) and I had to ask if it was table service or whether I ordered at the bar because it took a while before we saw a server; however, after that they did a good job of setting expectations on how long it might be before we got our food, and in the end we did not wait too long. Food was pretty good (steak pie x 2, lentil/spinach curry, lentil/spinach burger) and while maybe not the cheapest it is what we have come to expect to pay when eating out in Llangollen. All in all, given how busy the place was, I would say they did a good job.

Brought the family for lunch and they all thought it was terrific. Had a lovely time and were very well looked after. Six clear plates! Thank you as ever to everyone.

We had a lovely meal at The Bridge End. Service was smashing, friendly and efficient.

Always come dole to ear after rafting - Jason and staff fab - food awesome and great value /. Looking forward to coming back
