My family and I were surprised to find such amazing Greek food in the heart of London! And I haven’t even said a word about the beautiful décor, which in itself merits a side-trip to see! Zaman Restaurant – MayfairWalking down Southampton Row looking for a quick bite at a pleasant place to take my lunch break I came upon Trattoria Verdi, where I have had a fine dining meal before. To me, Trattoria Verdi is an attractive place for every occasion. I was even more convinced of this when I learnt I could to order a three course meal for a song. And no fine print. I was simply great food for a fair price. I chose the whitebait, which came with potatoes and vegetables. It was a tourist menu, too! When a restaurant can serve a tasty tourist menu you know it can be trusted!
Trattoria Verdi – BloomsburyIt has been said that Il Fornello is a classy affair. I totally agree! I brought a business client here knowing their menu is open to every taste, the service is dependable and mature. We had exquisitely prepared fish that came with perfectly cooked veg, and for starters had a tasty prawn salad. I am so pleased to know a restaurant that can serve for business-minded types too!
Zeo’s – BloomsburyMy family and I enjoyed a tasty and hearty meal in this beautifully decorated restaurant. Besides the assortment of mezes, dips and veggies, the children loved the murals, each one hand-crafted we were told. The music added an extra pinch of Greek flavour, but the cuisine had already more than satisfied us. Definitely highly recommend to all.

The food is heavenly and the merry ambiance the Greek music and staff bring is the ticket for a great night out. Their beef cubes cooked in wine is just one of my favourite dishes. Me and my friends give Yialousa thumbs up for being second to none.

The venue itself is beautifully designed and after receiving a welcomes greeting, coat removed and stored i was directed to my table. The cocktail/wine and champagne menu is fantastic not only in quality but pricing. From start to finish the service was oustanding, they did not miss a beat, ,assisting with the menu, topping up water/drinks and always being available when needed. Lobster scotch egg was delicious and their special (pork) was delicious as were their truffle fries. Best part of the evening the prosecco sorbet but also the cucumber and mint. So impressed booked again that evening for 2 nights later. Get a booking quick as I feel this place is going to take off!

A strong shot of espresso and warm croissants for us adults, and fresh OJ for the kids with the full English Breakfast they shared prepared us so well for the day’s excitement we returned for lunch!
