Tale of India – DocklandsI last went to Zensai a couple weeks ago, and i have to say the food is divine. Me and a friend had the Beef Rendang and the Roast Duck Noodle Soup for our main courses and both were perfect. The flavours were exquisite and our waitress was very pleasant. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Malaysian food. London needs more restaurants like this!
Zensai – Camden Townamazing food, i think they just had a new menu! load of little bar snack and they had the winter pimms out already! must be getting to that time of year again! but good to see a pub which will change with the weather. the staff were great, i think it was the manager said they have a whisky tasting in December (free booze i'm there!!!) Loved it
The Lyttelton Arms – Camden TownWe were very glad indeed that we stumbled upon this place! It offers fusion tapas. Although i hate the ludicrous word fusion applied to food, we loved our dishes. The wine list was exclusively from New Zealand with excellent wines by the glass. If in or near marylebone you must go there.
Providores – MaryleboneMidland couple - A special 'Mad Hatters' treat arranged by my wife as part of a day trip to see National portrait exhibitions. What can I say but excellent, the decor, the situation, the ambiance and the food was delicious. The find such a breathtaking hotel so close to Regent Street with such reasonable (for London) prices. Definitely will be returning and maybe push the boat out and take a room as well, certainly these prices match other 'boutique' hotels I've researched around the Midlands. I do agree with another reviewer about the 'pushy' waiters, I know they probably earn commission on the drinks but come on an automatic 25% service on the bill was another £25, I'd expected more than someone pouring my bottled water for me. Finally. I did laugh when I asked for a piece of cheesecake to be wrapped so we could take it home and was required to sign a 'disclaimer' from the kitchen? Only in London.........
Suka at Sanderson – FitzroviaThis was my ever first visit to a Persian cousin since I have heard alot about from my Irani friends....luckily I ended up dining at the Ariana Restaurant, it was an forgettable night, you cant call this place only a restaurant to dine, it has everything to make you enjoy your visit, live music belly dance drink sheesha excellent service delicious food perfect interior nice and friendly staff, we were the among the first to enter and almost the last table to leave, still we were very warmly treated by the management.....I am really grateful to the restaurant management and the atmosphere it provides to their customers...STRONGLY RECOMMENDED - GREAT VALUE FOR AMOUNT YOU PAY - LOVE YOU ARIANA.....
Ariana – Bayswater and PaddingtonI have been to many restaurants on Edgware Road and can honestly say this is the worst I have been by far. Firstly, the service was terrible, after waiting an hour for our food the waiter got our order completely wrong. We complained to the manager and he refused to believe the waiter got the order wrong and so we ended up overpaying by £75. In addition to that the restaurant was filthy, the decor was cheap and everything just looked very tacky, the toilets were so disgusting that we preferred to use the McDonalds ones across the road. I would hate to think what the kitchen must be like! There are plenty of options on Edgware Road so strongly advise avoiding this one.
Al Shishawi – Bayswater and PaddingtonI have eaten at Ariana three times over the last 18 months, and every time the service has been superb, and so has the food and entertainment. The dishes are a mix of Persian (Iranian) and Afghan, so some Iranians may well not recognize all of them. Without exception all of the food we have had there has been excellent though, both varied, and consistent across multiple visits, all of the starters seem to be good, with the aubergine dishes and olivio salad recommended, and the main course chello kebabs are superb, with chicken kebabs being a good alternative, or the Afghan meal with raisins and nuts in the rice over a lamb shank is very good too. Last Saturday the belly dancer wasn't the girl who was on Britain's Got Talent semi-finals, as before, but the dancer they had was still excellent. I'm English and married to an Iranian, and both sides of our family have loved it there, both my mother and father got up to dance during the evening last week. They said it was like being on holiday, with the Iranian singing, not that actually going to Iran is a recommended holiday nowadays. Don't be put off by the location or the TVs on the walls, it's well worth a visit. And excellent value also.
Ariana – Bayswater and PaddingtonAn evening having dinner in Zensai is like being whisked away to Borneo for the night! The food: I haven't been able to find such good Malaysian food in London until I went there. Its perfectly spiced, beautifully fresh and leaves you wanting more. Exactly what the cuisine should be like. (How the rest of London hasn't clocked onto this, I don't know!). If you like Malaysian food, you should definitely go to Zensai, you wont be disappointed.
Zensai – Camden TownThis is our favourite local restaurant. Does everything a local should! Lovely staff who recognise you, cool little bar for drinks and really really lovely food - the most important bit! ! can safely recommend it if you live in the area though its a bit off the beaten track.
Locale Fulham – South LondonThe Seabass at Zensai is wonderful. The fish was cooked to perfection and was beautifully seasoned. I recommend the Seabass topped off with one of their Champagne cocktails. The combination is amazing!
Zensai – Camden TownBest Malaysian cuisine on offer in London! They have a wonderful selection of food and cocktails, and all the food i have had there has been delicious and wonderfully cooked! Their Thai Green Chicken curry is my favourite!

Zensai – Camden TownLove going here when out shopping in the area I can grab some of their excellent sushi and know that I’m still eating healthy. Tried one of their salads the last time I went and they are really good too and have a really great dressing! My favourites are the Tempura Roll uramaki and the Phoenix futomaki oh and the tempura prawns and dumplings are good too!
Me Love Sushi – North LondonPerfect in every way! Beautiful restaurant, great food, delicious cocktails and fantastic staff! Just wonderful!
Zensai – Camden TownGreat spot on Heddon Street, just off Regents Street. We dined outside in the sun and enjoyed our food. A fine smoked salmon pasta and an ultra thin based pizza with a nice rocket and parmesan salad.
