Great pub/restaurant in Holland park. Good Al Fresco area too for the summer months!
The Mitre – KensingtonStumbled across this Indian restaurant which has been open since 1977! So it must be doing something right! I assume its a Muslim venue as no alcohol is served. The food is extremely authentic. My chicken Jalfezi was unlike any other I have ever tasted and i have had quite a few. The place was full of Asian families which said it all really. Well worth a visit.
Khans Restaurant – Bayswater and PaddingtonIts very difficult to find a place that sells good quality food, and is reasonably price these days....but zensai accommodates both! The food is really wonderful, its fresh, creative, cooked beautifully and flavoursome...the cocktails are original and make great accompaniments to the malaysian cuisine!
Zensai – Camden TownReally friendly staff in a busy pub on Strand opposite the Adelphi Theatre. Good prices. Would recommend to anyone.
Coal Hole – Strandvery good quality dim sum at a reasonable price. The special recommendations section of the menu is a must go if you're inclined to spend a bit more. Enjoyed it very much!
Shanghai Knightsbridge – Chelsea and West BromptonBeing a veggie I can go here with my meat eating friends and we can all find something which we love, I love any kind of fish, so I've always eaten Sushi, the large rolls with the rice round the outside are good filled with spicy tuna and they do nice dumplings too.
Me Love Sushi – North LondonJemima my daughter loves her curry and so a trip to Brick Lane was a must. We chose Aladdin among plenty of others and we are so glad we did, maybe the best Curry we have ever had and (maybe I shouldn't say this) The drinks were on the house! 10/10
Aladdin – East LondonI have been going to Brick Lane for curry for many number of years and I always used try at different restaurant but for the last year I have been going to Chillies they do the best King Prawn Bhuna the services good and the price is not so bad !
Chillies – East LondonI started with calamari chunks which were cooked really well, then moved on to a rice bowl with prawn and crab, which had a really nice garlic sauce. The food had loads of flavor and everything was freshly cooked.
Me Love Sushi – North LondonCant fault it! Just wonderful!
Zensai – Camden TownI went here on Friday night with 6 friends, when we arrived we were seated and asked what we would like to drink, everyone had different drinks I opted for the raspberry mohito which was amazing. There was so much to choose from on the menu, it took us all ages to decide what we wanted. In the end everyone decided, we ordered starters & then I chose the peaking pizza for main. This had roasted duck, with cucumber and spring onion with hoi sin sauce on the base. So tasty. To end I had the warm waffle. This topped the meal off WOW
Fire and Stone – Covent GardenGreat place. A bit hard to find at first as there are no signs but well worth it!
Erebuni – Bayswater and PaddingtonZensai is the perfect place if you want good quality food and cocktails for a reasonable price. The restaurant itself is beautifully done, with friendly and attentive staff . A great place to visit
Zensai – Camden Townrajnagar spice has build up a reputation in wandsworth for their Divine food and excellent service. Nice people in charge.
Masala Kitchen – South Londonsuperb!
Zensai – Camden TownI am pleased to see that zen sai has so many great reviews as it thoroughly deserves them! Zen sai is easily one of the best restaurants in London, offering wonderful cuisine served by friendly staff, at a reasonable cost! brilliant!
Zensai – Camden TownWe have had brunch on Sunday at Union Cafe with young kids and have really appreciated the kindness of the waiters. This is not always the case when you try to go in a decent restaurant with kids in London...! The " brunch" food was excellent, especially Eggs Benedict, and the atmosphere very nice. We will come back again !
Union Cafe – MaryleboneI lived in Islington for 3 years without knowing this place existed before being told about it by a friend. I consider this 3 wasted years of my life. The food is sensational - delicate and fragrant, with some dishes combining 5 different flavours in one mouthful. I recommend the Lamb Rajastani starter followed by the Tok Jal Misti (sp?). Food heaven. The owner is one of the most charismatic and fun people you will meet. I took my parents there twice while they were down in London, and they now request we go back to see him every time they come down. It's BYO and the food is exceptional value.
