Four of us had a really good meal on a Fri. night. Service was excellent and our table was at a window and reserved just for us. I had telephoned at 6 that evening just to know if a reservation was necessary. We had a few nice pints in the bar afterwoods. Our taxi failed to arrive so the owner Craig phoned a taxi he used himself - cost us half the fare of getting there. Good pub, great food and the owner's a top man.

The other day our family had diner at Thai orchid restaurant and I must admit although the price was a bit dearer the food was outstanding. We ate mixed starter which is chicken spring roll, veg spring roll and chicken and pork satay. The main course was special fried rice with sea food. Recommendation is if you can afford it choose Thai Orchid restaurant.

We went into Yates's twice while in London and used Tesco Clubcard Deal Vouchers. The first time we had a meal which considering most of the meals are probably microwaved or reheated the food was really nice and we didn't have to wait long either. On our second visit we were on our way back to Euston before leaving so popped in for breakfast. The breakfasts were huge and the staff told us how to get the best deal. They even allowed us to pay for drinks with our vouchers (when they should just cover the food). We went in the afternoon the first time and morning the second time and had great service. It gets very busy after 5pm and in the evenings you have to queue to get in so if you want to eat there then you'll probably have to wait longer. We would definitely go here again to eat as it is good value for money.

I think Rodizio Rico is a great restaurant and really hope they open one in Manchester soon. The food and service was of an extreme high standard. I would give 5 stars

excellent food& service never had before

To be fair, it doesn't look like much but the service was fantastic the afternoon I went. The waiter was super friendly and even tried to help us, which was really sweet! The hand made spring rolls were fab and our mains were equally good.

This is a horrible restaurant. The service was slow. The waiters were rude. Seats were uncomfortable. Overpriced food. When my food arrived, it was the wrong one and I had to send it back. And after all this, I got the bill only to find "service" was included! What a joke. Avoid at all costs. There are lots of restaurants in Upper St. They are all better than this one.

each time i use this restaurant we are greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome no matter what time or when the service is great and the food has always that just cooked straight to the table smell and taste its fantastic keep up the good work

Absolutely awful customer service. Ordered a take away at lunch time, and was kept waiting for ages (10+ minutes). I did appreciate it was busy at such times, so asked their staff (guy in black without glasses) when my food would be ready. Then I heard the rudest statement at a take away ever: "Next time you order, mind the time. We are very busy now." Thank you for the instruction - there will definitely not be a next time! Btw my order, vegetarian ramen with pumpkin soup, was absolutely bland with no trace of flavour or whatsoever, only a messy tangle of textureless noodles and some starchy, yellow "soup" with some rather mysterious looking veggies.

today i had a sumptuous lunch at hakkasan with a dear friend we shared a dish of 'small eats' which comprised of a selection of delicious dim sum dumplings filled with prawns and mushrooms, followed by Pi Pa duck with chinese greens in oyster sauce with rice and a seafood dish whose name i have forgotten. the food had a lightness of touch with delicate flavours that shone through. I also had my 3 month old son with me and though my fried and i had carry the pram down a flight of stairs the staff bent over backwards to make my son and i comfortable

Guys I worked there for few weeks in 1991 and I can say it is one of the best places in London where you can taste real genuine food and original good from all over Europe. Take a rest and get there ... amazing !!! Ciao Valeriano

We had lovely meal at The 4 Lanterns last week with some friends. The food was excellent, we had meze which was so much food. The atmosphere was friendly, with nice waitress bringing food all the time. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

The best-kept secret in East London. Our favourite Indian, if not overall favourite restaurant in the area! I have to say, when we first discovered it, it was a pleasant surprise - , and the location is a bit off the beaten track, but my is it worth it. The service is fantastic, the food is delicious though - I can't eat food that has too much heat, but they don't just pile on the heat at this Indian - it is spiced properly. This is the best Indian in town!

We had a personal recommendation from a old time arsenal player, so we thought the food must be good. We found the restaurant very cosy with two floors one floor for day to day and ground floor for private parties. The food was very nice and fresh. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. i recommend vasis to anyone with a passion for good greek food.

Divine menu in delightful surroundings. Very friendly and courteous staff - highly recommended.

The Golden Dragon serves excellent food and the service is excellent. Food prices are very reasonable although wine prices are fairly steep and Jasmine Tea at £8 a pot seemed a little excessive but -overall -thoroughly recommended and looking forward to going back again.

Hey just wanted to pass on a message to your wonderful Head Chef Cameron Hill. How's it going over there, I hear you are cooking up a storm. You missed out on a wicked day at the cricket and it just wasn't the same with out ya. Flash and the boys were smashed as usual and it didn't take long for me to catch up as I snuck in a bottle of vodka hehehe.
