Numero Uno – ClaphamI had the best and freshest fish and chips ever anywhere in London fantastic great value go there great old pub Richard and Alberta owners lovely you will have a great time believe me.
Cock and Bottle – West LondonBeen many times, love the atmosphere and had a great time every time. Large groups tend to be on long tables so better in small groups
Haz Restaurant – East LondonAngela's food was of the highest standard, the whole experience was superb, this lady should have a thousand plus men lusting after her, they say a way to a mans heart is through his stomach, Angela you have my heart forever, will be back, Andy
Helene Darroze At The Connaught Hotel – MayfairI'd recommend to try this restaurant anyone, its a gem! I've eaten there many times over the past 10 Years and enjoyed every meal. Food, service, atmosphere and value for money you can't fault it.
Agra Tandoori – East LondonGreat Italian food in a beautiful restaurant. The food tastes really fresh and all of the dishes I have chosen has been delicious.
Locale – South LondonMy friend Linda and I spent 1 week in London Nov. 24 through Dec. 2, 2006. We discovered Sopranos while walking in London. We loved it so much that we ate there three different times. So you have a fan in Huntington Beach, Ca. and Chandler Az. To bad it is so far away!!!! We would be there all the time.
Sopranos Restaurant – KensingtonMy job, is to recommend the best to our Guests, I am the head concierge for one of the best 5* hotels in London as well as very adventurous on trying different cuisines, I went with one of my friends last Wednesday, to have a dinner. As we were looking at the displayed menu on the outside, The Restaurant? door was opened by a smiling hostess who, asked us if we have tried Lebanese food before, to cut it short, we walked inside ?r The first thing we noticed, was the lovely smell of the burning incense at the door, The restaurant was more of a full House considering it was Wednesday, a cold February evening. The décor is so much relaxing and cosy, Egyptian, Moroccan, or Lebanese, I asked the waiter; the owner toured the Middle East and North Africa and brought all what you see from all over the place Sir... We left it to the waiter? recommendations to order the starters, cleverly we were asked about any preference of vegetarian or nuts allergy we may have?r We had 6 different mezzas, including ?Tabouleh? Kebbeh, Home made pastries and really amazing delicious Falafel, which I never tasted as such since my visit to Israel some time ago. We chose the main course ourselves, I had the king prawns (They were more of three lobsters) than prawns, my colleges had the mixed grill. We both looked at each other and wished we never had lunch that day, as the food was too much to finish. We had to have the, mint tea to help us getting up?t came with some lovely tiny pieces of Baklava, that apparently got ?flown into London from Syria especially for Joury every week?, according to the waiter? You can not get this quality of Baklava in London Sir?, I must say, Even though we were so full, We could not resist,, it was a amazing. We stayed to finish the football game that was showing on the large screen, It was our ?London club?? The bill came to £61.00, in my honest opinion for what all of what we had, I would highly recommend this restaurant to every one of my Guests
Joury Mayfair – MayfairIn our first visit to London we were delighted to have the opportunity to visit Romano's Restaurant in Kensington. Our first course featured Mediterranean grilled sardines which were grilled to perfection and served hot off the grill. Lightly salted and oiled with fine virgin lemon oil - I quickly knew that we were in the right part of town. Our dining experience improved even more when the second course was served. My wife ordered the mushroom risotto served with Romano's own hand picked truffles brought over from Bore, Italy. I ordered the swordfish with tomato sauce that brought an enjoyable evening to an end. We were so full that we passed on dessert - vowing to come back another time to test the deserts when we had more room. We would recommend this great restaurant to anyone who lives to EAT GREAT FOOD. Romano – KensingtonMy boyfriend & I went on Valentine's day but no fuss or even a mention of it was anywhere in the restaurant. The place is small and we sat upstairs which felt like sitting in someone's house. Very cosy but not in a good way as yor elbows practically touched others whilst eating. The only items that made it feel Thai were some wall hangings and a couple of Buddhas. Everything else was simple & quite unexciting. There was also a bar was upstairs which took up valuable space. I chose a seafood dish with pad thai j which was gorgeous but my partner chose a dish equivalent to beef rendang which, although nice, was lukewarm but he really liked it. (I'd have sent it back to be warmed up!). The starters were delightful - Tom yum soup & veg tempura. I would recommend only for the food as it lacked ambience and it took us 30mins just to get our drinks. The service was nice but poor as they were inattentive and slow & we heard them get other orders wrong. I'd go again but chivvy the waiting staff up a bit rather than waiting to be served for ages like lemons! Price-wise, great for a Thai restaurant in that location. Try it cos the food is lovely..
Thai Square – KensingtonBest Lebanese food I have had in London for a long time, beats the well known? by a long shot. The freshness of the ingredients and the consistently high quality of the dishes are what make this place so amazing. One of London's best kept secrets!
Alwaha – Bayswater and PaddingtonBest Lebanese food I have had in London for a long time, beats the well known? by a long shot. The freshness of the ingredients and the consistently high quality of the dishes are what make this place so amazing. One of London's best kept secrets!
Alwaha – Bayswater and PaddingtonOur party enjoyed an excellent meal at the Oxo Tower. I'd love to eat here again in the summer to truly appreciate the stunning views of London and the Thames through their huge floor to ceiling windows. So, I shall be back!
Oxo Tower – South LondonHas to be the best Greek restaurant in London offering authentic Hellenic cuisine. The food is simply yummy full of flavour and portions are so big unfortunately we never have space for dessert or coffee!
Olive Tree, The – North LondonRecommended by a friend. Four of us went on a Saturday, busy yet service was attentive and food hot and very good. Particularly liked starters of parmesan basket, boned quail, main course ,risotto as it should be, and very good fillet. For quality of food prices were reasonable, great find in north London
Artigiano – North LondonHotel we stayed at in March was steps from this wonderful restaurant. Saying there again so as to be close. Ate there every night as food and service was that good. Very friendly host, great service and incredible food. You will love it. Difficult to decide on entree. Good salads too. Can hardly wait to go back this spring.
A must for the visitor to London. This is British true British cooking where carved roast beef is done tableside. You must try the pudding sampler. A bit stuffy and pretentious, but isn't that what Olde England is all about.
Simpsons In The Strand – StrandThe Square, a Mobile Two Star Restaurant, is perhaps the finest restaurant I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Every course was an adventure. Every bite was delicious, and presentation was beautiful. It would be worthwhile to travel from the USA to London again just to dine at this gastronomy haven.
