We were chastised by the waitress for asking for new plates, told we had used the wrong plates for our rather dry sandwiches. Spoilt the experience. Will not recommend to others

I’m vegan and usually treats like this don’t cater for my dietary requirements, however, when I called to book there was no issue. The afternoon tea was lovely from start to finish, delightful welcoming staff, beautiful room and the afternoon tea itself was amazing. My husband (not vegan) and I both really enjoyed all the food, the sandwiches were delicious and cakes perfect. Fresh warm scones with clotted cream and jam for the non vegan and just jam for me….so much food we had to bring the cakes home with us to eat later. Would absolutely recommend and I’m sure we will be making a return visit (they also cater for gluten free and other dietary requirements so don’t miss out!) Had a little stroll in the grounds afterwards too.

I phoned to explain the situation and every thing was sorted out so effectively and we were able to take 2 beautiful packed teas to our friends the next day. We were very impressed. Well done everyone, delicious food and a lovely atmosphere.

The afternoon tea was delicious (so fresh, such a range of goodies from hot soup/freshly made sandwiches and bagel/warm scones/lemon posset and superb cakes) (Cake boxes provided to take cakes home as quite a lot of choice of food to consume) All served by attentive staff in costume, in the relaxed and intimate (24 seats) library setting. Well recommended! Lovely formal gardens and hall to wander around (room guides were knowledgeable). We left the parkland walks for another day.

This made the service feel very tailored and personal. The food was delicious, unlimited tea and coffee and the theme was brilliant. Old style music playing softly and a waitress in costume. There was so much food we had to bring our cakes home. The scones are served warm and are delicious. I would definitely recommend afternoon tea at Lytham Hall as excellent food, ambience and value for money. Loved my birthday treat and will definitely return

The hall is really worth a visit, so much to see with incredibly helpful and knowledgeable volunteer staff. Chairs around the hall to use, which was useful for mum. Afternoon tea was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Shops and garden centre were well stocked.. we will be back. Mum had a wonderful afternoon. Thank you.

The grounds leading up to the 18th century Georgian Hall increase the anticipation and expectation. The staff , whom I believe to be all volunteers staff where all friendly and attentive. The service was excellent as was the setting and food and the experience did not disappoint despite the high expectation. The visit is highly recommended, as is the tour of the house if time allows.

The staff were so accommodating and the food…sandwiches and cakes and numerous tea and coffee servings were excellent. We truly felt pampered. What a great way to spend a couple of hours.
