This was my second visit for afternoon tea at Lytham Hall and was as good as the first. Wonderful surroundings, great food and the waiting staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. My russian visitor was eagerly looking forward to her first English afternoon tea and this did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

Hence, as we had two friends visiting from the USA, we thought it would be a wonderful idea to let them enjoy the quintessential british experience of a delightful afternoon tea in such beautiful and historical surroundings. Simon looked after us superbly and was a marvellous host, as always. In fact, all the team looking after us were wonderfully friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Lilibet’s is simply stunning and the table was beautifully set with gorgeous dated English porcelain tea cups, plates, etc., the retro music played the likes of Cole Porter & Gershwin in the background adding to the wonderful ambiance. The whole setting is unique, beautiful and the best way to enjoy a superb afternoon tea. I highly recommend visiting and perhaps taking in a tour of this magnificent and beautiful stately home. It’s smaller in size and an ideal and highly enjoyable afternoon past time. There’s so much history. Delightful!

It looked so inviting and so when my dear friend had her 83rd birthday it was definitely somewhere to take her to celebrate. We really enjoyed the occasion and were cared for very well by the team lead by Simon. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious, as was the endless coffee. We finished the day with a look round the hall before collecting our left overs to take home. What a treat! I have shared the tale with other friends and feel sure I will be back, hopefully soon!

We enjoyed the tour of the hall and felt the tea room also had a lovely feel. The service was excellent - plenty of tea and coffee. We appreciated the way the lower plates could be taken out and the cake stand removed so we could see each other across the table ! The little cakes and deserts were lovely and the cream tea - always a favourite! Beautiful scones.

This was our first time having the georgian afternoon tea but it won't be our last. We came as a big group and one of us had a specific dietary requirement which was catered for very well. Simon looked after us and was a fantastic host. All the staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The room was gorgeous and the table was beautifully set. Absolutely lovely.

My friend is gluten free and her afternoon tea was also perfect. The setting is lovely and we got to go round the hall after. The volunteers in each part of the building are so engaging and knowledgable. Had a wonderful time and will recommend to friends and family

The service was very attentive. The quality of food was good although the scone a little disappointing and I felt fresh clotted cream rather than long life in a jar would have been preferred.

The settings are beautiful and you were made to feel very special, the service was excellent especially Simon who is so attentive. Deliberately selected the Sunday for Sunday roast inspired . Wonderful setting and lovely friendly staff. Thank you very much . The afternoon tea was a good mix of savoury & sweet ,all freshly made. The vegetarian option was also well catered for. We would definitely recommend & hopefully come back to look around the hall.
