We have always enjoyed the Bacchus experience. The staff are friendly and helpful , the menu is varied, interesting and beautifully presented, the ambiance is elegant and relatively formal. Bacchus consistently provide an excellent quality of lunch or dinner at a reasonable price.

Not many places that you get good polite service and an old fashioned properly set table, white table cloth and napkins. Food is good and elegantly served on a plate rather than a roof tile or log. It’s not Michelin star but I am grateful for that - it’s well prepared and well served.

Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldReally enjoyable evening with some old friends in Prestbury. They look after you here but the service is friendly and unobtrusive. Food is very good and a strong wine list in support. A long evening (we were there from 7 to 11:30) came in at a little over £100 a head but when I consider the whole experience I’d much rather have had one Bacchus evening than two £50 bistro or pub meals. We will be back.

As always it was the perfect dining experience. We all agreed it is an outstanding restaurant. My granddaughter has to eat gluten free foods and the attention to detail given by the staff to ensure she had a choice of dishes was second to none. I cannot praise this restaurant enough.

Terrible place, the beefs that tender it makes you ill every time you eat someone else’s. It’s exceptional. Not old fashioned, not “traditional”, just bloody good food and wine served how it should be. Eat here before you die and take someone you care about. They will enjoy it. Could not recommend more highly.
