Yet another lovely meal this time to celebrate our anniversary. Can’t fault anything. Excellent food, service, ambience and such good value for money. Everything just seems to come naturally with all of the staff, so attentive without being obtrusive

Lots of choice on their regular menu but also two specials boards and a pizza menu. We were looked after very well and enjoyed our lunch. Highly recommend The Cock, Henbury.

Lilac at The Chestergate – Macclesfield4 of us visited on Saturday evening. Staff were warm and welcoming. Food was fab even my fussy teenage son cleared his plates! I think this could end up my new favourite place! And you get a little discount for paying cash! Cash is king! Also no service charge in sight on the receipt which also persuades me to leave a nice tip. Lovely place.

Food was delicious- presentation, quality and taste was fantastic. Loved the free glass of champers which exemplified the personal touch. And, finally, can’t forget to mention the tomato focaccia - absolutely amazing. Definitely not the last time we visit!

Very highly recommended.

Fabulous scallops and lamb, chilli beef and monkfish, think we even had a sweet!!! Definitely the best, or one of the best in the local area, our go-to for occasions, and thanks to Steve for looking after us so well!!
