Great grub!!!

We only tend to visit annually for a family christmas get together - but it's always excellent value, lovely food, friendly and very attentive staff and a great atmosphere. We're a range of ages with some right picky characters among us - but even we can't fault Bacchus which, believe me, is saying something!

Service, atmosphere and food well below the standard of the Prestbury restaurant (which we love). Better tapas places in Macclesfield. Will not be returning to the Chestergate.

Absolutely lovely food and people

Fabulous meal, excellent service. Would recommend. The only thing I will say, if you don’t know where it is you could miss it, needs more presence on the street.

Came for my birthday meal was very quiet which was nice. But unfortunately the food was not great the patatas bravas were undercooked and the chicken was very chewy and hard. Lovely atmosphere and wine but would never eat here again. Im hoping they just had a bad night.

Another lovely meal at Bacchus, a little gem of a restaurant in Prestbury. Menu choice was good, food beautifully presented & very tasty with great service by attentive staff. Restaurant was full on a Tuesday evening - with a great atmosphere. Definitely would recommend and we will return.

An amazing meal with lots of variety and good quality food. The live music was great as well.

My first visit this week and it won't be the last. Every dish that came out looked delicious and tasted even better. Can't wait to go back!!

Another great meal. 1st time for Sunday lunch, lovely Roast beef and Yorkshire pud, plus the usual excellent service and delicious food.

We went for a meal last night (25/11/23) and love it here. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff cannot do enough for you. We shared our starters of crab cake and goats cheese bon bons which were divine. We both had Barnsley chop for our main which was delicious with the red cabbage and mash. We will return.

This was our first visit after a recommendation from a taxi driver. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and realised this a different restaurant to normal.

Our meal was exquisite - the dishes arrived periodically as we preferred and the different tastes and textures of each dish was a perfect mixture, a perfect tapas experience. Looking forward to our next visit already. Thank you

We had a lovely meal on Friday, I had lasagna and my friend had the thai curry, it was delicious, the service was fabulous and the guy serving was very attentive, would definitely go there again.
