Excellent, mine and my partners favourite place. We travel from Oldham just to eat here. The food is so authentic and tastes amazing. The beers are crisp and taste fresher than anywhere else. Really nice atmosphere with friendly staff.

The Salt Bar – MacclesfieldBrought my mum for her birthday last night, both owner and waiter were lovely. The place itself was quirky too! A lovely setting. Disappointed with the food though, the bread with salsa tasted liked tinned salsa and nothing special. The crispy pork belly wasn’t crispy at all so just fat. The mushrooms were nothing special. Nothing has a taste that I thought wow! The prawns and halloumi were delicious though. It’s a Shame as I won’t be rushing back. A real shame as great location, staff and decor!

The Salt Bar – MacclesfieldLovely evening with friends. The food, which was fine started off slowly but being tapas came in a steady trickle. Nobody asked if we wanted more drinks or if food was OK. Next thing the bill was slammed on the table and we were told to be quick as next customers were waiting and we were surrounded by people waiting to sit at our table! We were never even asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. It was rude and overwhelming. Also there was only 1 chair, 2 people sat side by side on a bench (at a round table) with a heater under their legs, whilst my husband sat on cushions on the window sill, with no back rest, I wouldn't have been able to eat at the table from there, luckily he is tall, Always had great experience there in the past and have been many times but may try elsewhere next time
