Fantastic!!! Strongly recommend to anyone and everyone! The best dining experience my girlfriend and I have had in our lives.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Manchester – Manchester City CentreA decent Japanese restaurant with reasonably well-picked and well-cooked ingredients. The downside of the place is that it can often be very loud. The last time I went, my partner and I shared a table with about 20 others who were celebrating someone's birthday. If you're looking for an intimate, romantic venue then this isn't for you. If you're looking for good Japanese food, cooked in a lively environment with a large group of people, it's great!
Sapporo Teppanyaki Manchester – Manchester City CentreSimply outstanding. Certainly THE best Indian restaurant in Manchester and the best I have ever been to. After over 12 visits, it has never been less than superb, and the prices are amazing. You must try this place!
Akbars – Manchester City CentreJust average. Nothing impressive, but then nothing dire. The menu looks impressive with a wide range of dishes in many different styles, but more than a few of the dishes have been poorly conceived and just don't work. The standard of cooking also appears to be inconsistent. Ambience is OK. It's just an OK restaurant. Don't get carried away!
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreA really enjoyable experience. It can be a gamble when trying new cuisine but the staff are very helpful, and when food is cooked as well as it is here, the adventure can be a delight. Highly recommended for something a little different, done very well.
Topkapi Palace – Manchester City CentreI used to love Chinese food, but after so many disappointing meals in countless faceless Chinese restaurants, I lost my love. I wasn't sure what to expect from Pacific but I was very pleasantly surprised. The menu is one of the best I have seen in a Chinese restaurant. Great mixes and a wide selection. Service was a little ropey but the quality of the food more than made up for it. This restaurant alone has genuinely reignited my love for Chinese food. Fantastic!
Pacific – Manchester City CentreGreat food, not that great service. Seems to be a little inconsistent. Do try the ostrich fillet - it's fantastic. Not so sure about the Kobe fillet - at £50 a pop it's overpriced and not a little underwhelming.
The Grill On the Alley – Manchester City CentreGreat for lunch. Menu has changed slightly over the last year or so. In my opinion it's not as good and the range has certainly been shrunk, but it's still a good place with decent service.
Croma – Manchester City CentreGreat range of hot meat ciabatas, steak sandwiches etc. Items from the deli counter can be added by request, the iced latte is phenomenal and the place is busy - but not elbow to elbow thankfully - at most times of the day. Now I don't have to trek to Bury for a decent lunchtime bite!
Katsouris – Manchester City CentreNandos is FAB! Food simple but very tasty :) And we all love Kirsty x
Nando’s – Manchester City CentreWhat a great place to eat at, the food is so nice, i would recommend anybody there, Family Naans are the best, they are HUGE!!!! If you are round the area please try it.
Akbars – Manchester City CentreThis is the best little secret in Manchester definitely worth a visit and it has the best jukebox ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Corbieres Wine Cavern – Manchester City CentreI was recommended Yang Sing's as being one of the best Chinese restaurants in Manchester but I disagree! Albeit the food was good, starters and main meals all came at different times and on one occasion had to ask were the rest of the meals were as the others were getting cold! Also, crispy duck and pancakes weren't on the menu which I feel is a must for a Chinese restaurant. Seen as we were there for a special occasion, I felt slightly let down.
Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreA very very nice experience. All round top quality and a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Good quality food, helpful staff, and a nice atmosphere for drinks afterwards. Recommended to others.
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreBlooming lovely!! Very good food which was reasonable considering how nice the place is. Very impressed.
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreHaving been once, i came back again. Great Chinese atmosphere. Very courteous waiters.
Little Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreI am a regular at El Rincons, and have to say every Saturday lunch is always a pleasure, I am addicted to there Gambus pil pil, and the filleto steak, yum yum, I can also recommend the new potatoes in a wine/oil sauce of the specials menu very tasty, my boyfriend can never decide on them or the patatas bravas, There aioli is soooo divine, ask for it think its only 1.50 and great to dip your bread in, We had the Cumberland sausages of the specials menu the other Saturday very very nice.. I am wanting to try so many different things of the menu, but I end up ordering the same things, We went 2 Saturdays ago for a late lunch about 3ish and it was packed, had to wait 20 mins, so I will be booking next time, getting very popular. if you have not been please go you WONT be disappointed.
El Rincon de Rafa – Manchester City CentreI came across this restaurant purely by chance... what a find! The food was absolutely stunning! It was fairly quiet when we ate (Sunday evening around 9.30pm but there were lots of Italians eating there which I always think is a good sign. The staff were attentive but not so that they were intruding...but the food.... I just can't describe how happy I was...I am quite a fussy eater and I had no complaints hat so ever... the starters of breaded mozzarella were delicious... not greasy or rubbery and my main course was cheese stuffed ravioli with a cream and pesto sauce... it was so tasty! My partner had Calzone which was the biggest I have ever seen and he also said this was delicious... we didn't have much room for dessert but had to try something as we were so impressed so had the five flavours of ice cream... and yes... you guessed it..... deeeeeeelicious! I am in danger of never eating anywhere else when I go to Manchester as I know the food here is amazing. ooooo and the price! starters, mains, one desert, 2 coffees and two beers.... under £40...... I nearly sent them back to double check! Bargain!
