Service and food go hand in hand in this excellent thai restaurant, but the real winner for us was the birthday celebration for one of our party- the whole kitchen brigade all appear singing 'happy birthday' and crashing symbols - hillarious! No idea who was left holding the wok though, as everyone seemed to be at our table.

My wife and I went for our anniversary and would highly reccommend it. The food was excellent and the entertaining chefs were excellent too. We went on a tuesday at 19.30 and there were only two tables occupied so we had very good service and didn't feel rushed.

Went here for the first time on a random Sunday eve after deciding that our usual haunt was too far away for us today. We had Sunday roast, I had lamb, g/f had beef and we shared half and half. Both were excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

3 girs, nice bar, and surprisingly good food! We booked to make sure we could get in - Friday night. It wasn't overcrowded and felt really relaxed. The staff were happy to give us extra time to gossip & deliberate over the menu. Caramelised onion and goats cheese tart was delicious. Steak was cooked exactly as I liked it & staff happy to help with wine choices. Overall they were very tolerant of our slowness which made for a really relaxed evening.

Its the little touches we liked most. They coped very well with a group of 14, getting all the food out in a timely fashion and together. Argentinian sausages were a delicious starter. Our Cow was called Daisy - I guess that could put some people off but we loved it. Steak was perfect, and we couldn't even face the dessert menu. The cocktails were delicious too - definitely worth a visit but be prepared to pay a little bit more than average.

One of my favourite greek restaurants. Meze's good but so are the chef specials - always worth looking. The atmosphere is great & I always leave feeling pleasantly full & chilled out.

I was a little apprehensive about going here after reading somewhat mixed reviews. I went with my parents and partner on a Thursday night for a graduation meal - a big event! I had booked a few weeks ago and they did not have my booking, yet despite this they led us to the bar where we had some drinks (great mojitos!) and they sorted us a good table in under 10 mins. We had a shared starter of cerviches which although small were excellent - the prawns with coconut was outstanding! The service was excellent, bread with dips on the table delicious. We all had steak and it was fantastic. The only reservation I had is they tend to cook it on the rare side, I ordered mine medium rare but it came rare. I sent it back and it was no problem, even came with a fresh salad. Bill came to £134.00 for 3 starters, 4 mains, and 2 sides, 3 desserts (pancakes - lovely) and a good few drinks - wines, beer and cocktails. Ambience was great, although needs to be busy - which it was. Decor fantastic, in a lovely old methodist church. Would go again - try it!

Good food and service and an interesting wine list - just a little on the pricey side.

This was our second visit to EastzEast, the last one was over a year ago. We were pleased that the food and the service was just as good as the first time. We especially liked the fact that the curries were not swimming in oil. We will certainly visit it again.

Very very expensive!!! Service was interesting too... we were told that our choice of "rare" for a ribeye steak was not acceptable!!!! Food is good but don't believe all the hype. It's not worth what it costs but we'll probably go back at some stage since it probably is the best steak house in Manchester (although we haven't tried that many.)

I have eaten in the Leeds branch of Chaophraya several times and it was amazing every time. We went to the Manchester branch on a saturday for my birthday. The food was good, very fresh and full of amazing flavours, but definitely less plentiful than in Leeds. One other thing that really disappointed me was the liquor coffee! At Leeds they make it on a small trolley right next to your table and it's very entertaining! So I persuaded everyone to try one and after spotting the trolley near the bar thought I was in for the same treat. Sadly the coffees were just brought over as in every other restaurant and we never saw them being made. So all in all the best Thai in Manchester by far, but I'm hoping they take on a few more ideas from the original branch to give it that extra special something...

Great place to go with a party - brilliant atmosphere and the staff always go out of their way to ensure you have a good time. Try the Cheesecake - the waiter recommended it and true to his word it was amazing!!

I've eaten at Chaophraya both in my lunch hour and in an evening. Both times the service and food have been out of this world. Chaophraya has fast become my favourite restaurant in Manchester.

We eat here regularly because of the excellent quality of food and service. A fantastic restaurant!

I have never been to a more superbly splendid restaurant; the food was divine and the service simply exquisite. I shall not bore you with details, but suffice to say the interior was aesthetically pleasing and the atmosphere lively and à la mode. Having doffed my napkin, I was faced with the bill - on the word of my associates, I had expected a severe dent in my bank balance. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover nothing short of a reasonable price... The perfect end to a perfect evening. Bon appetite.

Emphasis, food wise, is on quality - certainly the tapas and burgers are a few chef's hats away from the usual standard. Portions are generous and there is a warm, friendly and casual atmosphere helped along by beers from Bazens and the Marble Brewery and a jukebox from heaven.

I have to say, Panama Hattys has now become top of the list for me in dining experiences. It does exactly 'what it says on the tin.' It serves wholesome food in a very comfortable environment, with service as important as its quality of food and drink. It casts aside pretentiousness. The food portions are huge, the price is reasonable, and what? more, the staff don? buzz around you for the entire evening, but yet, are always on hand if you require anything. They are warm and friendly, while also being professional. I have sat in the lounge after my meal a few times and had many a conversation with staff or management, they really are that approachable, which in my eyes, tops the experience off nicely. The range of food choice is immense, something for everyone. The chefs know how to combine the correct amount of spices and ingredients (i once asked for my Lamb Goreng to be given some extra heat, and this was done with no fuss, and tasted fab). The bar staff were able to make cocktails for us that weren? on the menu, and even talked us through how to create them at home (which I do, but they still don? quite come out as good) I really want this place to stay as one of my hidden little gems, but I feel I now have a duty to give it the credit it deserves and spread the word.
