Wonderful experience food was brilliant first time their but definitely not the last, give it a try you won’t be disappointed!

Busy chaotic restaurant, pre-theatre. The staff were lovely and polite but very disorganised. The manager and waiters were using tablets to electronically enter the food orders through to the kitchen but seemed unable to to doing this effectively. The result was that we, and many other tables, had the wrong dishes brought to us or had dishes missing when the orders arrived. My husbands starter did not arrive until 5 minutes after mine, then our mains took quite a while to turn up. We were very glad we booked and arrived early as some of the customers who came in after us had a long wait and were getting increasingly anxious about getting to the the Bridgewater Hall on time. The food was good but basic considering the price. I would not recommend this restaurant, particularly if you are heading to a theatre.

Best Italian restaurant by far. Authentic Italian food, excellent service. Wide range of wines and cocktails. Highly recommended.

Meal was lovely great portion size. Staff very friendly and great service. Just wished they would have mention to us the pre theatre menu as our meal was booked for 4.15pm. I would definitely go back .

Not usually 1 to bother writing a review. But pound for pound some of the best food I’ve had, everything was full of flavour, good portions, reasonably priced. More than enough options to keep veggies happy. Cocktails are amazing as well especially for the happy hour prices. Highly recommend.

Me and my dad came for dinner this Friday, and we were absolutely blown away! The food was AMAZING, as well as the service being great and quick. The staff were super friendly and answered any questions we had. We’re both vegetarian and they had lots of options for us. 10/10, thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely be going again!

We visited for a meal before attending the theatre. Lovely atmosphere in the rest, all the staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. We ate from the the pre theatre menu. My partner has the pate and steak and I the leek and potato soup and Spaghetti Arribiatta. Some of the best food we have had. Would Definitely recommend everyone to visit.

I went to celebrate my solo birthday in this restaurant and let me tell you something. I’m definitely coming back. The food was exquisite and the staff were super friendly. It was quiet when I went yesterday so it gave me like a peaceful and intimate vibe. There’s also a nice garden. The decoration is very colourful. Price it’s not bad in fact is affordable.

We had a delicious meal, great value midweek. We loved the atmosphere and the friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended.

We visited Gio's on 18/08/23 and were greeted with a warm welcome. From the ambience of the restaurant to the attentiveness of the staff and delicious food and generous meal portions, this restaurant and friendly service was the perfect romantic venue for our second date. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely little place.Had a lamb curry and a jackfruit curry plus a side of fries all very very tasty.Only gripe was £3.50 for a can of cream soda and £3.50 for a can of shandy tad overpriced there apart from that small thing would definitely go again and recommend to others.
