Lovely place and great food, had to wait for our drinks and our food longer than we would have liked - we were hungry and had been saving ourselves for nice food. Busy place but great value for a pre theatre meal and the menu choices are enough for a reduced menu. Food was fresh and really tasty and well presented. I would suggest going at 5pm for pre theatre, no later.

Booked at 5.30 for pre theatre meal. Waited for drinks, then the waiter had to return and ask what we had ordered. Waited over an hour for our starters which both required no cooking - they were salad and pate. By 7pm we still hadn’t received our main so decided to leave as we wouldn’t have time to get to the theatre. It was busy, but we thought booking for 5.30 would have been enough time. Don’t take that many pre theatre bookings if you can’t cope with the orders. Won’t be coming again.

Beautiful authentic food which was served by the friendliest waiting staff. An absolute gem of a restaurant in Manchester. Excellent value.

Service was amazing, atmosphere was so so nice and food was lovely. My favourite place to come to for cocktails, staff are always brilliant and attentive !

Overall an enjoyable experience and a tasty pre theatre meal. The major downside was the extortionate price of drinks. Nearly £7 for a small bottle of Peroni!!!!!

Had the pre theatre deal and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the staff very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going again!

Excellent service and food.

Thursday March 30th. My brother and I called in at 5.30 for a pre concert meal at the Halle. Met at door by Boss & shown to table 1. Delicious meal all round , great service and nice chat with the boss. Does get busy, so book and enjoy. Fantastic meal back on the 27th. Thanks to all. Walter.

Great value for money, the food is so tasty and good offer on drinks. The staff are so lovely and friendly- overall great experience thank you!

Disappointed. Last time we had a fabulous meal in a party of 12 but alas not this time when there was just the 2 of us. Asked for steak no sauce but got it swimming in sauce. Asked for 2 starters instead of garlic bread but still got garlic bread. Feeling that the waiters didn't listen. No one approached us and said 'is everythibg alright' or indeed came to pour our very expensive wine when the glasses needed replenishing. Paid bill and left and again no one said goodbye or had we enjoyed. Bit like conveyer like food, not a special dining experience.

I went on the Wednesday 50% and we had an amazing time! The price was amazing value for money, massive portions and sooo tasty!! Would deffo recommend to anyone!

We had a lovely lunch on Wednesday 30th Food was lovely and fresh and very attentive staff Would def recommend and would come again.

We booked a table for four of us before going to a concert. The starters came out quickly and were lovely but it took nearly an hour for our mains to come, at which point we had 10 minutes to eat them and leave for our concert. The food was nice, it was just a shame we couldn't actually enjoy or finish it. Gio's did take our drinks off the bill which was appreciated, but obviously would have preferred to just have a nice relaxing meal.

Great food but v belated. We discovered Giorgios in our search for a nearby pre theatre restaurant. People sat around us happily eating their meals and it looked good. The wait for our food was getting lengthy-35mins,, When people who arrived after us started getting theirs we asked if our food would be long. They never came back with an answer. So at 45 mins post order, we asked another waiter, he came back and said your food will be another 10 minutes. Given that all we asked for was a spaghetti bolognese and a butterflied chicken dish from a set pre theatre menu we guessed that it may have never had reached the kitchen in the first instance. Thankfully when it came (55mins post order and getting close to curtain up!) it was v v good . Wish I could have savoured it a little more than wolf it down in haste. The gentleman owner?/ maitre de? was very attentiveand kind but the female waitress assigned to our table was kind but so sadly rather ineffectual. Hope this is a one off instance, it certainly appeared that way.
