Fancied something different to eat one Sunday and wow did we get this! We all tried something different and we were all impressed, every one of us had food envy. I had the lamb curry which was medium in spice and the Lamb really tender. The staff were really smiley and attentive, and we loved the bright friendly decor. Definitely going back to try more things off the menu. Also for anyone going with kids, ours loved the hotdogs and chips but the portions were massive, the adults were quick to help out!

Everything was really tasty and amazing .The staff were really friendly ,planning on going back again to try other things ,definitely recommend it.

This is the BEST restaurant I have ever been too!! The food is exceptional and so is the service. The staff were so attentive, the food was well presented and tasted amazing!! The Panzerotti Emiliana is incredible - it is to die for!! The sticky toffee pudding & the lemon meringue pie is also incredible!! Honestly couldn’t recommend more and I will definitely be back!!

Thursday March 2nd meal. Food superb. Service fantastic. Will book again later for March 23rd. The meal was lovely for both of us. We Really like coming here and will be glad to return soon.

Here they have pre theatre food down to a fine art. The staff are pleasant and very efficient as they know most people are on a time restriction. The menu is varied and the food is delicious. All together a really good experience. We have done it before and will certainly do it again pre theatre.

Booked a meal for 5pm had a lovely reception when we got there The meal was fantastic a lovely bottle of wine . They looked after my husband & myself Really well would definitely go again .

Arrived and staff seemed unprepared and didn’t have a table for our booking even though there were loads of empty tables, manager wasn’t welcoming at all and seemed rude to the wait stuff, bar staff was lovely! Food was delicious and really lovely place, shame we didn’t feel welcome, no one checked back on us so didn’t have the opportunity to order more drinks, felt forgotten about!

Absolutely fantastic meal… so tasty & great value for money… Funky little venue - great cocktails too! Was recommended to us- 3rd visit now & will definitely be going lots more times

Came last night with my wife 4th March for the pre theatre meal . 22.50 each starter of pate and mushrooms . Mushrooms not was as expecting for an Italian they were not good at all . Wife had pate she enjoyed it but very small amount . Then I had the steak 2.50 supplement very nice bit again very small portion. Wife had lasagne which she really enjoyed . We both had 2xdrinks I had beer she had wine. Was asked to go pay at counter didn't get to look at the bill and was charged £96 . Was shoked ! Think they must of added a service charge which we was not told about it . So for these reasons wouldn't come back sorry.

Party of 6 post-theatre dinner. Unfortunately seated in back room with no atmosphere. Initial drinks and order taking good. Starters of garlic mushrooms were very poor - tinned and sour taste. Prawn cocktail and garlic bread good. Mains okay but big portions. Also asked for starter portion as mains but came mains size and over-facing. Complaints were addressed at the time and apologies given. I wouldn’t say don’t go, but for £190 for 6 - our money will be spent in another venue next time.

I regularly visit Manchester for work and this is the first restaurant I head to. I have eaten most of the items on the menu and all are absolutely delicious. Portion size is generous and the food is authentic. I have been there with several Russian and Eastern European friends who have also fallen in love with the place - "it tastes just like how my grandmother used to make it... ". Many of the clientele are from that region which is always a recommendation in my book!! The owners and staff are always very welcoming and friendly. It is getting busier and busier. Work is ongoing to open the upstairs as the new primary restaurant area which I am sure will only enhance the popularity as it will increase their visibility. Also a great place for a light lunch....

It was a quiet evening when we had a table for six. We were given a warm welcome. However, the prawn cocktail was served without bread. The main course came with very few vegetables. I asked (twice) for more and they came too late. We were given a complimentary drink at the end and our 9 year old was made a fuss of. On the whole, we were fairly satisfied , but I am not sure whether we want to come again.
