Returned after moving away for a while, improved decor, but still great food and service. Hope to be back soon when, hopefully, it will be a bit busier.

Food was delicious, service was excellent. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We ate early so unable to comment on the atmosphere later in the evening but we certainly thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended

I have been meaning to eat here for years but never got round to it. What a mistake to make! The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Service was very good also. We have never tried Armenian wine before but it didn't disappoint. We will certainly be back. PS. I have only marked 3 for atmosphere because it was early when we dined and so it seemed very quiet. However if the restaurant had been fuller I may have been able to mark it higher.

Kicked off pride weekend with another wonderful visit to Chaka’s, taking some friends here who haven’t been before …. They were blown away! Nice to always have the option of inside and outside seating. We were running late and the team accommodated this with no issues. Stunningly curated menu, wonderfully friendly staff able to recommend their favourites. Traditional South African food. Tonnes of flavour, the Bunny Chow is a winner & the secret hot sauce is the best around. Adrian looked after us, charming & friendly energy, he is an asset! Thanks again everyone at Chaka’s. Hands down a top spot must-try in Manchester.

I'd been looking forward to coming here for a long time, and I wasn't disappointed. The khatchapuri and lamb were very good, as well as the service. If I have one comment some of the khinkali didn't come out whole, but otherwise an excellent experience.

Chakalaka never disappoints. Food was perfect, service always great.

First time here last night. Atmosphere was great. Staff friendly and helpful.Food delicious and large portions, shouldn't have had a starter, but wanted to try all the different dishes. Will definitely be back.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff, cocktails were really good and the food was delicious. Couldn’t fault it! Felt like I was back in Cape Town for the evening.

Arnero has some really amazing indian food. Perfectly sized portions and super tasty with really good service from the staff.

Excellent and friendly service. They atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. Food was delicious and good potion sizes. The pre-theatre menu is great value for money and there is a good choice of dishes. There is a good range of drinks on the menu too. Will definitely visit again.
