Great food at Arnero. Proper India fayre. Never had a bad meal!
Arnero – Manchester City CentreHad a lovely meal here, cheerful, friendly staff. Served very quickly and very hot (the only way to serve hot food). Only downside for me were the drinks which were a bit pricey, even for the centre of Manchester.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWonderful restaurant, great service, fantastic atmosphere. My first time but won't be my last. We had the pre theatre menu which was £22.50 for two courses (starter and main). everything was delicious and the wine menu was also extensive.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreFantastic seafood risotto! Definitely will be going back here next time im in machester!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWe really enjoyed our first dining experience at Chakalaka. The cocktails were really good and food even better!
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreThis was our first time trying South African food and we really, really enjoyed it. The whole meal was delicious and the staff were very lovely and attentive without being overbearing. Our reservation was pretty early, so we got to enjoy the place whilst quite quiet and left as it started to get busy, and there was a good vibe throughout. We'd definitely come back to Chakalaka for more, it's a great spot for some lovely food that's not your usual spread.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreI enjoyed it but I would say that the banquet for 2 is more a banquet for 3. The dishes were nice and tasty. Big portions that are great for sharing. The vegetarian menu had a good selection of options. The restaurant was nice and had a good atmospheres. I would eat there again to try more from the menu. The service could be more friendlier
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreSuperb friendly service at Giorgios, our first time last Thurday evening...even though the restaurant was full, the staff were amazing. I can see why this place is so popular. Wonderful food and a great atmosphere. Thank you Georgios
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreMy favourite restaurant in Manchester- go here at least twice a week when in the city and have eaten most things on the menu. On this occasion went with 5 colleagues for their first time and they all loved it too. Generous portions of fantastic, authentic food which is just that bit different from what you might expect. A great recommendation is that so many customers are from the Slavic countries. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the staff make you feel most welcome. Great selection of Eastern European beers and Armenian and Georgian wines. Highly recommended!!
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreA lovely meal, great atmosphere and staff very friendly. This was our second visit and I am certain there will be a third.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreFantastic food and great service
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreReally good vibe at Giorgio’s with our lively, 8 year old boys! Food and wine excellent. Thank you
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreBooked for 4 after my graduation in Bridgewater Hall, staff were lovely, restaurant set out nicely and food delicious. Perfect if graduating at Bridgwater Hall or if staying at the Midlands hotel. Only issue is no draft beer and bottles expensive for small bottles. Otherwise perfect
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreHad an evening meal after my son's graduation at Bridgewater Hall. Booked for 4.30pm , got there 4.15pm and was seated straight away. It's a lovely place, not much of an atmosphere, althoughthe staff were pleasant and friendly. The prices of food and drink was expensive for what we got, although it was delicious.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreMy husband & I had travelled to Manchester to see South Pacific at the Opera House, staying overnight at the Premier Inn next door. We were seated & served promptly by very friendly, helpful staff. We had the set 2-course Pre-Theatre menu & the food was delicious, probably one of the best meals we've had for a while. As it was early evening there weren't many people in the restaurant, which seems a shame as it was a really nice place. We'll certainly make a point of eating there again next time we visit Manchester.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreI hidden gem!!! I have been coming here for 30 years.. great food, family business, need to survive.. go and enjoy it!!!
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreA busy, compact Italian restaurant with friendly, fun staff, very tasty food and good atmosphere. Drinks a little pricey, but otherwise fabulous overall.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWe went as a party of 4 for a birthday celebration. Nice welcome, cocktails on offer, we choose pomegranate mojitos which were glorious as a warm up to the bottle of good Chenin blanc. We decided to have the Veg meze as our starter which we would recommend. Mac cheese is a must. Out of the four of us only 1 person was brave enough to try the pap with their main. Strange is all I can say. The chicken skewer dish was tasty, lamb curry on the edge of spicy but worth a try. Unfortunately the chick pea potato curry didn’t hit the standard of the other mains as potatoes were cold. Returned dish staff dealt with well when returned too late and asked to remove from bill. Recommend place for a try of something different with good cocktails
