The food was exceptional The atmosphere was exceptional There is NO young teenager here who is just making a few quid for the pocket money but instead the waiters are very attentive, professional, friendly, polite and want to please. The chefs are very talented and and know how to excite the pállate. The decor and Armenians who dine there make it feel like you are in holiday. Highly recommend!

Called in Thursday night for pre theatre meal with my brother. All I can say is it was fantastic. We were given a starter of bruschetta , then Ministrone, followed by pollo alla creme. Then coffee and Limoncello. Cannot wait to return in March. Grazier Mille. CIAO.

I came here for my birthday with my 2 close friends. The staff were absolutely amazing and the food was so tasty. I have never been to a restaurant where I could not fault them, however in this case they were flawless! Thank you so much :)

Absolutely wonderful experience at Gio's! We went for a pre-theatre dinner with my family - they couldn't do enough for us! We had a delicious meal with wonderful service. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back again. xxx

Lovely cosy restaurant with friendly attentive staff. Able to get pre theatre 2course meal with good choices also a la carte menu. We enjoyed our meals.

This was a once a month lunch meet up with my friend. We were stunned by the selection within the Menu, so much so we’ll have to come back again soon. The Service was exceptional and very friendly, the food was well presented, flavourful, a feast for our eyes, tasty and sensible portions. The price was sensible for a City Centre Restaurant. Lunch time was nice and quiet but I would imagine in an evening especially at the weekend the atmosphere would be buzzing. We would both highly recommend the Armenian Taverna and Restaurant. Lun

Great place for a meal pre concert friendly staff good food

Went in after the Halle Concert and had a great meal. All 3 of us enjoyed it and it was great to be recognised after such a long time since the restrictions. Specially enjoyed my Penne Mafiosa. Nice comfy place and good service

Food was absolutely delicious, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the decor was newly refurbished it looks fab! Also have to mention the atmosphere, perfect. Will definitely be booking to come here again!

The food was packed with flavour, authentic & hearty. Special mention to Adrian who was friendly, attentive, able to provide recommendations & accommodating with us amidst a change on the size of our booking, an asset to the team. I booked this last minute and was really surprised at how amazing this place is. The food was perfect literally faultless and the service was lovely. They make you feel like your all family. We will be returning

Service, food, ambiance all excellent!! Don’t think twice about booking here. Ideal for pre theatre meal if visiting Bridgewater Hall too.

Excellent service and food yet again when we went on Monday 24/1/22. My go to place when I am in Manchester no question!

Lovely little restaurant with attentive staff and great food. Had an adult with allergies that was catered for. Cocktails are scrumptious, two for a tenner. January deals saw us pay for half of our food bill. Definitely worth a visit.
