Started with being ignored for 5minutes while owner knew we were there. Actual staff were brilliant. Food was great Owner question us on what our drinks were instead of knowing or even just asking his own staff. Just come across rude and arrogant. Even witness him talking down to his staff. Once we had eaten we had to go to the owner to pay on leaving. Instead of table service. Stood there yet again being ignored while he counted his money and giving excuses on his restaurant being so busy and unorganised. Shame as food is nice , I actually feel sorry for the staff there.

The worst experience I've ever had in any restaurant. I don't know where to begin - but the service was very slow. It took 15 minutes to be seated for a pre-booking. Food was all very late and OK. People complaining all around us. When we went to pay and give feedback at the end, the manager was unapologetic - accused me of being cheap and rude (I only gave calm honest feedback). Once we had paid he then proceed further with the abuse demanding we left, along with homophobic insults. We have reported this as a hate crime - it was that offensive. Never go here or give this establishment you time or money - you will only regret it.

4 off us went on Friday 12/11/21, we were early enough to take advantage of the pre concert menu which is excellent value for money, the service was faultless and waiters were all friendly and helpful. the food arrived promptly and was delicious. The venue is in a great location and It is easy to book a table online. highly recommended 5 stars.

Lovely meal. The food was very authentic. The staff was absolutely awesome. The drinks were lovely and they have happy hours to make it even better!! The biltong was really good quality. Will be going again soon.

Awful food and felt from the moment we got in the restaurant they couldn’t speed things up enough to get our table back! The pasta I paid £18.95 for was missing Norwegian prawns and had 3 large prawns of which two weren’t cooked! Just awful and we will never go again - should be a fast food outfit!!

Lovely vibe, lovely food, lovely wine, lovely staff!

i m very sorry but it was like an episode in hells kitchen: owner running around, menu with 1000 meals, no organisation and last of all what could you do wrong with an salad Caprese? Well they managed to make it like the kitchen smashed leftovers on the plate and dripped some balsamico on it. Terrible taste of the tomatoes and the mozerella. Above all half an avaocado (?) icecold on the plate. Bruchetta from two weeks old. Complete disaster. Not to quote Gordon......

Delicious food - the mushroom dumplings were amazing. Very friendly and efficient service and cozy traditional interior decor.

I recently had a post theatre meal here with my mum and daughter. The food was absolutley beautiful and the service was even better. We will definatley visit again when we are next in Manchester!

We had a great meal sharing the meat starter platter, the squid starter and the lamb kebabs with fried egg. Why is this restaurant not packed out?? It should be!

I booked a table online for Monday 25th October. A few days later I received a text - we do not open on Mondays would I like to book another day ? The booking was made for a specific day as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary therefore I replied to the text to say another day was not acceptable On Sunday 24th October I received an email to remind me of my booking . I text Georgio to say I had received an email and a lovely gentleman rang me to apologise Today , 26th October I have received an email to rate my experience at Georgio. My table was cancelled so how can a rate something I have not had ? You seriously need to sort out your admin and website for bookings

Booked a table at Gio for Saturday 23rd of October. Informed restaurant was closed but booking could be transferred to their sister restaurant. Wish we hadn't - food poor and overpriced - too many diners crammed into the restaurant. But the worst thing was witnessing the manager constantly bullying every member of staff. Avoid at all costs.

The meal and service were excellent.
