We dined at Giorgio's on Saturday evening. We were a group of four who were tired after a full day exhibiting at Manchester Central. In short it was the best evening, the food was spot on, we all agreed one of the nicest Italian meals we'd had in this country.! The service was fantastic, friendly, full of fun ( especially when rubber gloves brought to one of our group who had joked about washing up!!) Wonderful ambiance .We were made to feel as if we were regulars. I wish we lived in Manchester then we would be regulars !! To be sure we will return at the earliest opportunity, thank you all for making our evening .... my only complaint.. We didn't have room for a pud !!

Extremely impressed with our food! Pigs head croquettes, Braised featherblade etc. Our wine was excellent too, a very pleasant Macon to start and a Greek bottle of Red that was very good. Busy lunch service with efficient service

Visited Giorgios on Saturday evening for the first time and May I say it won’t be the last. Food, service, ambiance all excellent and reasonably priced too! Well done guys keep doing exactly what you’re doing.

Went for a pre theatre birthday meal on Saturday. Staff attentive for the most part. Meal was very good and served in a timely manner. Food fresh and very tasty. The restaurant itself is spotless. It does get busy so I suggest you book. They do a pre theatre menu until 6:45pm but you can ask to order from the main menu if you ask.

Visited this restaurant a number of times. Always a great atmosphere with friendly staff and super food.

The food was fantastic it's the best Italian I've had in a long time and there tiramisu is out of this world, the service was great the same as the general atmosphere of the restaurant, I'd definitely recommend it

A big disappointment. Having visited and celebrated at The Armenian Taverna over 20 years I returned on Saturday. I chose simply. Hummus and bread overpriced at £5 and lamb kebab. Lovely but very meagre for the price and not up to the past standard. All ok but not worth a return visit ever for me as the traditional ambience and food quality has been lost. If you like the menu give it a try. It is fine, not spectacular. If you are returning expecting the past establishment , don’t. It is a far cry from that. Really sad.

Me and my Dad had dinner at Giorgio's before a show this week and it was lovely. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious - all served in plenty of time for us to make showtime next door. Excellent food and great service, we will be back!!!

Great atmosphere , great food, great staff, great prices. Would recommend the early bird menus.great value I would highly recommend Giorgios a great place to eat, drink & relax.

We went to Manchester to watch a show at the Opera House Chose Gio as it was a short walk from the Opera House On arrival was impressed by the friendly staff We had a very tasty 2 course meal with wine The food was piping hot which is something I look for , can’t stand warm food. The only gripe I have is that the service was just too fast The starters came within a very short time of ordering and the same with the main It was just too quick for us as we like a small amount of time between courses to talk and enjoy our surroundings It did not spoil the meal at all , so if you are looking for a good quality but lightening fast meal Gio is a great place to visit
